some even pressure their children to marry rich and I ask, if it's that easy and you like money so much why didn't you marry rich? so that you wouldn't have to wait for my own money some will selfishly ruin their children's marriage/happiness because they want him to take care of them more than his own family I've seen alot of this.

Parents sacrificed a lot to see us be who we are so it’s only responsible of us to make sure they are paid back more than double what they ought to receive. My Dad usually and still says this, if I don’t work again for the rest of my life, I have enough to last me. It means he does not expect anything from us but want us to work so that we also won’t expect anything from our offspring

See, nobody owes their parents anything, we owe them love and respect, not retirement plans. Parents choose to give birth to us, so our parents sacrifices is not an exemption. Parents-Child relationship is not supposed to be transactional. If parents can’t handle the stress of a child, then it wouldn’t be wise to give birth at the first place.
Make yourself mentally/financially stable before thinking of marrying & childbirth.
