Good day, just got my admission offer from the 2 schools I applied to (GC & TU DUBLIN).

Please what are the necessary documents needed to submit at our Nigeria Embassy here.

How long will it take for the embassy to process the Visa?? I.e expected time for the Visa to come out

necessary documents needed to submit at our Nigeria Embassy here---- Read the thread* individual cases differ for few docs , however you will have an idea of the basic req.

Visa application takes 3-4 months * Exceptional cases - 5 weeks

You've been patient thus far , decision won't be sent via email Rather it will be posted to you just to be clear.

We hope to hear good news from you soon.
Cheers

OH it's that true?. I thought they usually send one an email if a decision has been made and dispatched. Okay let's hope and wait. I changed the supposed delivery address, the one given to UPS was updated with the embassy via email, and I am trying to track with the tracking number contained in the receipt UPS issued before but it doesn't return any results. Anyone ever changed delivery address? Did the tracking number remain the same

Embassy advises visa application be made 3 -4 months before school resumes, there are also class limit on each program - e.g if your dept has a class limit of 40, once they receive payments from 40 students, your offer is void.

I'll advise by April so you have enough time to sort out your paperwork for visa apps
Cheers

Thanks for your response.
I will work towards payment in April, however I will gather all necessary documents so I won't waste further time to apply as soon as fees is paid.
Thanks once again cos I never knew anything about class limit.

He had better find a way around his bank statements- Are transactions or figures written in German language?

Yes they are written in German.

So he translated it himself but we are aware the embassy will not accept it without a registered translator or notary.

My question is, if we get a notary stamp, will it be accepted since we did the translation properly ourselves.

I will appreciate your swift response.

Good evening everyone, i had an interview with trinity college Dublin on Thursday. I was told that ive been sent an unconditional offer and I’d receive it in 24hrs but i cant still find anything on my portal. Is this normal. Im just very anxious.

Secondly i have an ielts that will expire in August, can I still use it to apply for a visa for September entry?
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by DammyDurst(m): 5:05pm On Feb 29, 2020
Hi, I thought Visa application takes 4-8weeks. Has that changed already? I plan on beginning my application by June. My sponsor's statement of account wasn't that active in December. So, we are calculating using Statements from mid-dec to mid-june.

Can one apply for visa first week in March when resumption is April 27, or one should defer the admission?
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Blessedolamide: 4:55am On Mar 01, 2020
Hi, going by the recent thrend, you may want to defer. Processing rate lately.has been so.slpw. But ideally, it takes 4 - 8weeks. TBH, it's your call if you want to take the risk. You might be lucky in the end.

Cheers!!!

Don't worry it should be in your portal by next week and if you can't find it you can as well give them a call for reminder.

In my opinion, Canada is on another level. Lately, Ireland is fast approaching that lane. But with the right documents and availability of fund, the probability of getting it is higher than Canadian Visa.

I would suggest you just do a new one, you might not know when your application would be attended too.

Applying by June means your visa may be issued by mid-September; Once you're prepared to buy expensive tickets.

Although the most important reason to apply early is in case a visa app is refused, you have enough time for an appeal.

Good morning.

Please I need to confirm if Irish embassy share visa information with other countries like US and Canada or they judge based on the reason stated in your previous visa refusal letter?

I will appreciate a swift response. Thanks!

@ICaSNg Good morning, please my study visa appeal is pending in the embassy for february session of Griffith college. I understand that it is automatic deferment to September.

However, I'll like to ask if you think my decision will be released at the stipulated time or it will be released with decisions sent later on for September VISAs?

A reply will be very much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Experienced people here greetings.

Remember our Irish visa Application case since July 24th 2019, the emabssy in Abuja contacted us on 20th January 2020 and requested for a DNA confirmation test for my family, which was done and submitted by 17th February 2020. They acknowledged the receipt of the test results on 18th February 2020 and said the decision on the visa application will come by end of next week(the week ended today 28th February 2020), But as I type this email there has been no response whatsoever

Good day everyone.

Any advice on accomodation in Dublin?

School: NCI

Also, any advice on private secondary/primary schools around that accept International students, preferably boarding. I plan to carry my kids along. Does anyone have experience with this that can advice?

Hi, they judge on the merit of your application. However, it's very important you state all previous refusals in your app. Failure to do that will lead to refusal when they finally detect. I hope this answers your question.

It's advisable to book a temporary accommodation on booking.com for like 2weeks as housing is a big issue here. You may be lucky to get a good place as soon as you arrive, but that's not always the case.

Please, just a quick question, why does VFS Global charge for SMS but never sent any, because multiplying that amount of money with each applicant is enough capital to start another business.
There's corruption in vfs. When I went for Canada interview. They just looked at my CV and told me that there are gaps in my education which was false and they said I would pay money for it, I didn't want to argue with them back then to avoid long talk
