Was discussing if Lindelof could become a top defender like Ferdinand with Afrodoc. I said it’s possible if he can work on his weaknesses since Vidic didn’t have a smooth start either and became quite good. He disagreed.

I'm not saying DDG is perfect but he still has it in him. I expect that we should be talking about our lackluster second half performance wherein, we were bad collectively as a team.

Ole is not helping with his selection and tactics. It's obvious that with Martial up front, CBs can go take a piss and nothing will change so why is Ole still playing Martial up front when we have Ighalo who would have the CBs ruffled? Martial and Greenwood both want the ball to feet most of the time, Mason is even better at making those runs but both won't fight for every ball like Ighalo would. If we must play 4 - 4 - 2, let Ighalo pair with either of Martial or Greenwood until Rashford is back or switch to 4 3 3 or 4 2 3 1 and have Martial cut in from the left and James/Greenwood from the right.

You just need to have one or two good seasons or some moments and boom, you should be starting for life, no negotiations, no slander

Nobody hates DDG, but its annoying when avoidable errors are costing us, especially when its coming from our experience and trusted players eg DDG. Several players have been slated here for their weeknesses eg AWB, Maguire, Matic, Mata, Rashford, Shaw, Fred even little Williams and Greenwood. But when certain untouchables brazenly cost us points, we will immediately go to the history books to remind us how they "saved" us. May be we should recall Van der sar and Schmeichel since they did a lot for us. Bros its annoying to say the least.

Romero is not his replacement either. Romero has a good command of his box and deals with aerial balls with ease. But DeGea invites pressure in this aspect of goalkeeping.

Romero lacks reflexes which is DeGea's strong point. So we will need another keeper.

Good, my point is, his position must be challenged, he shouldn't be undisputed No 1. You cant bet that he wont come up with another blunder.

Honestly Ole did not help matters last match, even when we were on top in the first half, our attack was not working, its very blunt. Ole would have removed Greenwood for Ighalo and shifted Martial to the left. When Ighalo came in, the difference was clear, same with against Brugge. In the Summer Sancho is a must to be frank. We also need a new CF, Ole can still keep martial as the top striker, as he is quality, but he needs support as plan B.

Everton grew into the game as we were not threatening, so an experience manager like Ancelotti will always want to capitalise. If Ighalo had entered at the beginning of the second half, we would have been better. Meanwhile we were even lucky to come out with a draw

What i find worthy of amusement is denying DDG’s inconsistency over the last couple of seasons. Unbelievable saves spiced up with schoolboy errors is the very definition of inconsistency.

If the statistics is not from your ass, where is the link to the stat and the comparison with other Gks or we should take your word for it?

My point exactly.

It's either Bailly stays fit and partners with Maguire or Ole gives minutes to Tuanzebe in preparation for next season or we hit the market. We desperately need a stable back four and to be honest, Lindelof just doesn't cut it. He's always panicky on the ball when pressured, we deserve more or better.

The midfield looks to be sorting out itself. Hopefully, with the return of Pogba and McTominay back to fitness, we improve even more...

The attack is the problem area. We need to sort out that CF and RWF position come summer. In the meantime, Martial should be shunted out to the left and Ighalo through the middle. I'd say Greenwood should play as the RWF but I know most coaching will always want to have that one forward on the bench. Whatever happened to James...
