Somebody did a Nigerian A, B, C team on twitter

Looks good
Why Iwobi in Team B? I dont like that pair of Nacho and Osimhen though up front. With Kalu and Sam as wingers. I'd prefer Etebo/Aribo partners Ndidi than Ejaria. My opinion.

That C though..... Lol. Lookman!? Umar. The defense see go collect eh.

Snatch? He has been the number one for a while now

They've been giving him more opportunities, but there is still a considerable amount of Kaizer fans who believe Khune is the preeminent goalie.

I don't watch too much SA soccer, so I wouldn't know what higher ups are thinking.

Chiefs fans don't like Akpeyi much because he is Nigerian...that's the bitter truth..

Khune isn't just their first choice keeper..he is also the captain of the national team,so Akpeyi keeping him on the bench means he doesn't get to play much for the national team..
And let's face it,they don't like Nigerians..

Akpeyi won Gold at the CAF U-20 AFCON in 2005 and Silver at the FIFA U-20 WC in same year. That agent just mixed it all up.

Pidginwhisper:
But Akpeyi never at a time turn up for the U17 not to talk of winning a godl medal. I stand to be corrected sir.

Guys, those Teams A, B and C is just to show Nigeria's Mad Depth. Ignore the formation set-up whatever or who is in A, B or C. It is the depth that is being emphasised. Chikena.

Even though we do discuss non-nigerian players here sometimes, I don't think we should make it a norm. This is the Super Eagles thread!

There is a Chelsea fans thread. You can take your question there. Merci.

"Just a little bit of a reminder, Akpeyi at 17 years played in the Under-17 Cup and won gold at the Under-20 World Cup. He won silver and has been to the Olympics twice. He has been twice to AFCON and once in the FIFA World Cup with the senior national team in Nigeria.

"Now he is number one at one of the best teams in South Africa and Africa.

That part...! Shameless ex-payers!

Holland, Belgium, France and Spain are the best leagues for our players to start from (Particularly those who like dribbling and are technical by nature).
Holland in particular as this league concentrated on developing young players.
Chidera Ejuke made a wise move going to a mid-table team in Holland.
In the ductch league and other leagues mentioned above they teach you tactics, good decision making, how to apply your creativity in a team setting e.t.c.
I don't beleive your young players should go to the English league as that league does not understand or appreciate technical players and concentrates too much on physicality (strength and speed).
the great Kanu Nwankwo started at Ajax (which is a club focused on development-- dem no kuku get money).
Mark my words, most of our players who cut it in Holland, Belgium, France and Spain will go on to be particularrly succesful.
In fact, if Mikel had started in Ajax he could have become like Pirlo and not Makelele (that Maurinho turned him into).
You see, in holland they develop you and take you by the hand and mould you into a star and then, they correct your mistakes

spot on that's why i'm always happy whenever our youngsters choose other countries other than england when they want to go to europe. typical english clubs when they see an african player who plays as a midfielder will try to turn him into the next makalele.

Yeah they have a stereotype against African players, if you are not fast and strong you are not good enough

I was listening to Tim Sheerwood saying that Iheanacho should use his speed to overtake players, but anybody who knows Iheanacho knows that speed is not his strong point but finishing

please i don't take all those Tim Sherwood and co serious. Just because they do flowery analysis they feel they know football. imagine a whole tony pulis saying serge gnabry wasn't good enough smh
