Then, Jesus Christ was crucified, they called all names nd was resurrected. What the Holy Spirit needed the disciples for was for boldness nd talked about Jesus as the Christ. Great that you understand that they spoke in other tongues... Do you know that speaking in tongues can either be the languages of men or that of angels? Please read 1st Corinthians 13:1. Maybe you also want to get some understanding from 1 Corinthians 12.

If tongues is a heavenly language as u claim, why does the Bible at 2 Corinthians 13:8-11 say that there would a time when tongues would cease? Wouldn't that mean that there would be no language in heaven again, when the time comes for tongues to cease?

Christianity came into existence after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He became Lord over all. U know dat until u are saved, u are not a Christian. Rom 10 vs 9-10.
Jesus Christ was a Comforter when he walked on earth, nd the Holy Spirit is a Comforter now on earth. Speaking in tongues is d baptism of the Holy Ghost meant for Christian on earth. When Jesus Christ walked the earth, there was no Christian then.

Does this happen at church?
Why is such a clear cut instruction not followed? A pastor is directing and encouraging us to do the exact opposite of God's instruction... but we follow him.... and claim he is a Man of God. How can he be? We must be able to discern or we get deceived by wolves in sheep's clothing. Weren't we warned about those who will come and preach saying that they are of God? Excellent! This is nothing but pure truth!! A lot of Churches today elevate the spiritual gif of tongues above other gifts which is unfortunate, evidence of spiritual immaturity. Imagine the number of unbelievers going to Church for the first time and finding Church members speaking in unknown languages from the begginning to the end of service with then not understanding anything. Will these unbelievers be encouraged to visit such churches again? Definately not.
Our Lord Jehovah Yahwe is a God of order not confusion. Speaking in tongues in Church is only meant for those who also have the gift for interpretation. If you can't interpret what you're saying in tongues, it best you do so privately when praying to God.
Unless you can interpret what you're saying in tongues to the people, it's best to do so to yourself and God.
