Seems winter last year was a tipping point in this Germany student visa route. It would seem the government raised the standards for student visa eligibility while making it easier for students already in Germany to get a PR with the new migration law which took effect from 1 march 2020.
I dont want to sound like the bringer of bad news but I think this free tuition offered wont last long. Pls do anything you can to improve your chances and keep on pushing.
Also try other European countries. Heard it's quite easy to get a polish visa from Nigeria. Its easier to switch countries in schengen. Wish everyone success

With love from München..

Thanks, please which schools in other countries you think there application are on now

please is there an age restriction for gaining admission and visa?
I doubt, so long you can prove activities you have been doing for the period of years. As a matter of fact Germans are known for having old graduate with minimum of 28years.
All they really need are resourceful people

Been surfing through the net, in search of German universities that offers English taught degree programme. I noticed most of their degree programmes are German based and only a few are English based and mostly for masters programmes. Could any one assist me with German universities that are English taught for bsc programmes

Wow see as this thread silent...

Make unah forget this German waka for now.....i think other EU countries will appreciate ur applications even if it’s not tuition free.

I think almost all students fall into Cat.B with this new policies.

Anyway this is a wake up call, don’t waste money on fruitless application, Germany is a lovely place to study but there re also other lovely countries in EU.

So I don’t see the reason why unah keep silent like say person die.

I will advice u to get informations from part 7, this thread is slowly going extinct, just input key words, u definitely will get information, or pm this guy goztino...he used SL and should be of great help.

In other news what of those that have already booked for cat A for winter, would the embassy give dates to them knowing fully well they booked before April ist caused most category A hasn't gotten dates for winter, or should they wait till April ist then cancel and rebook. Really confusing times. @princejck

Those who booked Cat.A now with the current requirements don’t need to rebook, as their application is valid even after 01.04.2020.

So it’s advisable for those who qualified now for Cat A to book before April, otherwise it will be too late.

What re u appealing for?

If it’s for visa

It’s best u use a lawyer....most successful appeal is using immigration lawyer from Germany

Good luck
.....

Please at which level can one be advised to employ the services of German immigration lawyer

Are German immigration Lawyers only used in appeal cases only...

What about a visa delay of almost 5months and the embassy keeps saying they are awaiting the feedback from the Alien Authority... Can one use immigration Lawyer in a case like this ..??

You re the guy who applied to Clausthal University of Technology, please be patient till May,2020 that’s how long it might take for u to get ur visa, there’s no point of immigration lawyer.

Thank you brother, I eventually used Dr Walter.
As boss princejeck has said, I think it is better for anyone who qualifies for CAT A with the present requirement to quickly book now using October 1 as start date before April 1. I want to believe they would still get date

People need to act fast about this, April 1 is just around the corner!!

Finally brother,u might not be far from been right...

I just called my Ausländerbehörde and the lady said i have to wait...

That I would surely get a response from the Embassy..

When I tried to say I have been waiting for 5 months to make her feel sympathetic..

She was like...there are people who are even waiting longer than u..

You have to wait.....you would get a response from your embassy

Hello everyone. I have a bit of a challenge with my Germany waka oo.. I funded my blocked account since last week Thursday and the money hasn't reflected. Problem is, my interview is tomorrow and I still don't have blocking confirmation yet. What would I do?

I have no idea of what to suggest to you but still explain this to them at the embassy, you are definitely not the first person to have that issue.

However, when did you apply for AD and what category do you fall in? CAT A or CAT B?

Guys coming, I regret not coming with traditional medicine and roots etc, you will definitely need it.

Don't ask me why.

I understand doctor appointments take forever to book and its impossible to see doctors when you have cold cases which betray the point for having insurance but why would a secondary school graduate consider roots and charms as better alternatives to conventional tested drugs
