Person doing it for you?? Hope you went directly to frsc office cos they're supposed to capture you live. Then they'll give you a provisional license valid for 3 months, at the end of the 3 months you go and get your license. I can't remember but I think you'll get a message to inform you when it's ready, I you don't then take the provisional license to the frsc office you registered at and they'll check if it's ready. Things like this are simplr and you shouldn't have to go through some shady source to get it done.

To get your license go to the motor vehicle registration office and let them help you if you go to drivers license office direct it may take longer. Another Reason is they can’t run with your money they work together

The process should be a day affair but because they are seriously understaffed and the office is in dire need of an upgrade it takes longer. It should be a big building with standard floors for each of the needed services as well as large printing office

It takes like 2 to 4 months. Once you are confirmed to have meet the necessary requirement,(driving school etc) you will given a temporary one which expected will expired in two months as the permanent one is expected to be ready in that first two month. If at the of the two month, the permanent one is not ready, the temporary license will be stamped again to be used for another two month. Within this last two months, the permanent one will definitely be ready.

First timer it takes that long, for renewal only few days ,I applied on the 10th Feb 2020 and it came out 14th Feb 2020

I did everything and got the card within two month. But I think it's, because I know someone there who helped me throughout. If would have been longer if not.

Why didn't you do it yourself? Just 7k and you will get temporal one the same day and permanent one in just over two weeks later. You just have to pass some oral tests they will give you.

They have everything to print it there in their offices (or at least the one i did mine in at Aguda). You might have to wet ground or sweet tongue some female FRSC staff there o.

If u meet the type lady that is doing my own it may like 3 to 4 years. I started the process with her December 2016 till now I haven't gotten it. I decided to go and do another one which I started November 14 by February I have gotten. So it's a function of where and who is process it. This is based on PH.

UNDERSTAND THIS.

The driving licence process has two stages.
1- driving school certificate
2- the driving licence

DETAIL OF NO.1 you have to get DRIVING SCHOOL CERTIFICATE which is taking 24 days to come out. ie. from the day the driving school enroll you to FRSC server.
the delay mostly come from here where the driving school that collected your money fail to register you in time on the portal. they spend the money you pay them until they get other income before paying 2000 to FRSC for your enrolment.
your certificate start reading 24days from the day FRSC get 2000 enrollment fee.

DRIVING CERTIFICATE FEE defend on the driving school. is government has no control in it. is normally N7,500


DETAIL OF NO.2 When certificate is out, in one day you can get driving licence.
this process, you can do it yourself.

Log in to FRSC portal. www.nigeriadriverslicence.org
fill in your detail (NB you cannot change NAME & DoB)
Pay 6350 using ATM card detail
Printout the Form after payment
THE NEXT DAY (this is to allow the payment to drop to the FRCS from your bank), submit to VIO office for signature (this may involve practical driving test) they collect N300 or N500
Take same form to Internal Revenue Office for signature also. pay N300 or N500
lastly to FRSC capturing center (you can check online for your state or LG). they will Sign and do Biometric capturing and PRINT TEMPORARY DRIVER'S LICENCE FOR YOU.

WAIT ONE MONTH FOR PERMANENT DRIVER LICENCE which is plastic.

SUMMARY: DRIVING LICENCE TAKE A MONTH TO COMPLETE AND COLLECT IT. anything more than a month, there is problem.
