Na today, Lagos is not easy for everybody o!
Not just Ikorodu and Ajah.

I spent 7 hours on December 14th 2019 between Eko hotel roundabout in VI and 2nd round about Lekki (A distance of approximately 2.5km.)
Between 7pm till 2 am the next day.

This is no joke at all.

On Valentine day 2020, same journey took between 6pm to 11pm i.e. 5 hours.

LAGOS IS NOT FOR THE WEAK AT HEART.

I only enter Lagos, do what I have to do and get out as soon as possible. In fact, before I enter the city, my return ticket is already booked cheesy

I just can't live in that madhouse.

Abj will always be preferred

In Singapore, owning a car is made expensive by the government. Because if everyone bought a car, the poor island will be dominated by traffic all day, all night. But here, where our government doesnt think, we will continue to have this.

I am currently doing a work for a client at his company's premises outside Lagos with accommodation for the past three weeks. I am almost done with my mission but the fear of coming back to Lagos is deeply troubling.

My wife has been on my neck to come back as she is missing me. But the comfort I am enjoying in the hotel my client put me, which is a walking distance to his company location is too good to leave and come and face this Lagos wahala.

I have told my wife that I will extend my stay by one more week to have enough rest even my client agreed with me to chill with him in his hotel before returning to Lagos madness.

Lagos is a mess biko, if not the money to be made there smiley

Lagos is a mess. The most disorganized city. Sm people think paparazzi is governance.

The governor infact I don’t know what to say again. Roads are still bad and the raining season will soon be here. undecided

Still wondering why the ban of Okadas. At least, some navigated the traffic with bikes but now, that isn't feasible at the moment.

I don't believe that.

Lagos traffic can be terrible. Late last year, I left my office at Oshodi at 4.30pm, boarded one of these new LBT buses at 4.50pm, the bus left Oshodi for Berger at 5.00pm. However, we didn't get to Berger until 11.55pm.

Nah. If you have experienced traffic jam here in Lagos you won't say that. I have experienced traffic jam. Spent 7hours for a journey that should last for 1 hour at max

Exaggeration ...

There is no exaggeration here. If you lived in some parts of Lagos you will know.

I once was driving to Magodo estate from Mile 2. I stayed a straight 5 hours in Orile traffic. It took me 7 hours to get to the estate for a journey that shouldn't take more than 30 minutes ordinarily.

Road construction in Oshodi Apapa express the past 6 months have found many staying an entire 6 hours in one spot.

I've actually done 4pm to 2am.
Alaba international to kirikiri town.
So it's far from exaggeration.
I have phobia for driving in Lagos because of that experience.
