He cited the example of Hindu Scriptures that gave instructions for EXTERIORIZATION- the Release of the "Astral Body" - which, if followed literally, DOES THE EXACT OPPOSITE! If the exercise is done the way the Scriptures say, one's Soul is TRAPPED inside one's Body, as if with IRON BARS. Steps of Instructions could be REVERSED, OMITTED, or SCRAMBLED. An authentic MASTER would know the difference, but an outsider, who just picked up the scroll, and thought he knew something, would be completely messed-up. This made an impact on me, because DON JUAN MATUS, told CARLOS CASTANEDA about a South American Indian Tribe that conquered another Tribe, of vastly superior Spiritual Knowledge- none of which could work against them, BECAUSE OF THEIR IGNORANCE. Sorcery, he explained, does not work on people who have NO SPIRITUALITY WHATSOEVER. Therefore, once they killed the Ancient Tribe, they took over their Religious Procedures, and copied them BLINDLY, never learning to *see.* Carlos Castaneda asked him how he knew that, and Don Juan said that it was because THEY NEVER ATTAINED THE INNER KNOWLEDGE OF THE ANCIENTS. It is these details that pepper Carlos Castaneda's Testimony that assure me that his Work was not faked, as he was later accused of, by ONE guy- RICHARD de MILLE- who was the same MOLE embedded in SCIENTOLOGY from the very beginning (1950-1954) and tried to implicate L. Ron Hubbard in kidnapping of his own wife. He left Scientology, denouncing it as "fake," after being a FOUNDING MEMBER of DIANETICS for its first four years! Once you understand that the Apostles were LYING, all the complicated Theological explanations no one can understand, except the Seminarians, become VERY SIMPLE INDEED. frosbel2: While it would seem you're right. I believe the core focus of Jesus is the Kingdom of Heaven. And that really can't be observed physicaly but spiritually. Physically and sensually it always seems like Jesus lost. For example when he died, even the disciples thought it was a defeat. They never knew it was a spiritual victory even though Jesus prophesied it beforehand. It wasn't until the journey to Emmaus before they understood it. Homeshly, Jesus saves but I believe the church has overplayed it making believers lazy and most pastors are simply taking advantage of believers that don't study the bible. |
