Bro, I would still like to connect with you. Sent you a number of emails since last year.

Valid! But she clearly stated she's in tech. So it's very possible that these things happened.

The only problem with remote tech jobs, is that there's no job security...except you're working for the established brands.

This is a good one, but do you know that for a waist trainer sold 10k at Aliexpress, you could get it for 2 to 5k at 1688.com? You make more money buying from 1688 if you know how to use it. If you don't know how to buy in Chinese sites, pchat me for a link of a good trainer. He trains for N2,500 and still adds you to his telegram where there are several thousands of other sellers to hold your hands. For sharing your aliexpress info here, I will reply your pchat and give you the link. Cheers!

Note , you can buy from China, Vietnam, USa etc. That guy trains for all that. You can ask questions on that telegram b4 u make purchases so that other sellers will advise on any cheaper source or bad review. For eg, you don't go buying hair on that site cos most hair there are 'sponge.' There are other sources of good hair.

Pls.... I wd love to get training ń join that telegram grp.

Pls can u send ur email or whatsapp no?

This just happened recently...I just got suspended indefinitely by my line manager who can't even do half of my job..I think I made it obviously clear they couldn't survive without me albeit humbly cos I treat all my junior colleagues and partners with utmost respect..this happened in January and I am yet to be recalled although my Regional manager is working on taking me to a new branch but I must confess that the past few months has been hell..with wifey just having delivered our first child.
At the moment just equiping myself with knowledge to perform better if I get recalled or get another job..

Rule no1, do not outshine your master. Do the job let him take the credit.

With Just 1 Standard Lot, a 200 Pips Profit Move with XAU Gold will do the Magic

Same way a move in the opposite direction could get your account blown up in less than a second.
When you are selling this Forex thing , you guys should also talk about the other side of the trade.

Bro please I would like you to guide me. I just began reading an ebook on HTML5 and JavaScript. I've got a laptop but erratic power supply have been an hindrance. I've tried using those Bet9ja shops in my area but that place isn't conducive for learning.

I'm very interested in learning programming and would like to please be under your guide. I'm a complete JJC in the field and I would like to network with people that have been in the game for a long time. Would be glad to hear from you and leran from the contributions of other great techies here. Thanks

I feel your pain, we've all been there. I don't think a bet9ja shop is an ideal environment.

What I used to do years ago, is to work when nepa brings light. Try to study the pattern of how the give you electricity and work during that time. You can also try to get an extra library. Put it an effort to learn HTML and CSS and we'll talk once you master it. Good luck.

For someone that has mastered both, what's the next step in the right direction? We (me & camal) appreciate your inputs.

Start with:
- HTML
- CSS

Continue with:
- Vanilla JavaScript (basics)
- DOM manipulation
- Advanced concepts (ES6, closure, etc.)

Look into:
- FE framework (React or Vue)
- NodeJS

If there's one thing I've learnt from this thread it's that the poverty in Naija is real. Poverty also starts as a mindset.

Mid Level Software Developers earn around 250-400k in Nigeria. Seniors earn 500k upwards, in fact sometime last year there was a vacancy in Lekki and the Salary was between 800k - 1m.

If you work remotely for a foreign company as a senior and you're good, you can even hit 1.5m monthly.

Before you try to argue, I've been in this industry for the past seven years.

If you want to be like this get a laptop and start learning how to code.
can you put me through on this, sir?

zoezoelogistics:

Amen.

While you are waiting for that good job, my dear try to raise cash as little as 50k.

What for?
You are about to start a journey into the world of no more lack.
Just do a little market research on Facebook or online: use the following niche: fashion(clothing , shoe, bag), health (waist trainer, slimming tea, flat tummy, skin toner, teeth whitener) etc the list is endless. Please do a good research so you can identify hot in demand products. Make a pick and then boom start your online business.

Go online:
Use AliExpress, register , search well for good seller with a good price and good reviews
Buy like 30k worth of product.

Use the rest to do ads and campaign.
Facebook campaign, Social media campaign etc

If you have enough resources you can register a domain.
Then you can develop a sales page or landing page - which talks about your product. Add a payment processor, then start promoting this page on Facebook or anywhere online.

Please if you don’t have the resources, just do an attractive sales copy with a link to your WhatsApp or tg group where prospective customers can get to communicate with you to place their order.
Yours is to follow up and fulfill that order.

Note:
No one is giving you a guarantee of 100% success rate.
But what I can guarantee you is that you will add to your knowledge in the process, you will push yourself in the process , you will learn the art of trading through e-commerce in the process, and most importantly if heaven smiles on you your products will be hotly demanded for and you will be in money.

Please ensure you follow up your prospects and keep the testimonies as this will help drive more sales.
Try to satisfy your customers.
Never be tempted to scam anyone.
There is so much resources and wealth to be gotten online. Don’t mess it up.
One satisfied customer will get you 10 more.

Note:
It’s my first time out on this journey too.
I have learnt so much in the process.
I am no more where I used to be.

Less I forget, China is our primary source of supplies. With the current challenge posed by Covid-19/Corona Virus, there is a little slow down now.

Rugged guys like us are not deterred,
We are still buying and selling.
Delivery might be slow tho.
This is just for your additional knowledge.

Good luck.

Job sites like
Joprapido.com
Ng.indeed.com
Jobberman

Also if you are in the accounting field try to start ICAN or ACCA, with it on your C.V, you are good to go.

Finally, don't stay idle, you can actually start with a volunteer job to gain experience, in the accounting field, experience and professional qualification open doors to varieties of opportunities.

You are absolutely right! My last line manager is a perfect example. Dude earning $2200k per month and doing not so much. Developers are resigning because they felt he is earning so much while the coders who are doing the main job are earning far less. I left too.

$2200k bawo , what the hell is that or did u mean $2200 (2.2k usd)??

I travelled to another state to pray for three whole days in a prayer camp. I resumed work on Monday and an issue came up with my boss friend and I exchanged words with him.
My boss came to work that same Monday and sacked me and also sent me out of the house he gave me to stay. I travelled back to the prayer camp and moved on with my life.
The suffering after then was too much for one year plus. I cried so many nights till finally God gave me another job that restored all my lost years
