Upwork is a popular freelance platform that connects millions of professional freelancers (People with digital skills) with jobs from around the world. This global platform is a great way for independent individuals to find work right from the comfort of their homes and an equally great way for agencies, clients and companies to find and hire talented individuals from around the world.

Essentially, Upwork is a job board where thousands of freelance jobs are posted daily by clients. Freelancers submit proposals and make bids to win these projects and jobs, and after completion of the job you get paid the agreed amount directly to your local bank account(be it Nigerian or otherwise) or whatever payment option you chose.

But as of recent, getting on the platform is tricky! Allow me to decipher what is going on.

Upwork is by far one of the best freelancing sites with awesome monetary returns for skilled freelancers all over the world and because the registration to Upwork is free, I believe the number of newbies signing up is in the thousands if not hundred of thousands per month, so what’s Upwork’s solution to all of this? A lot more rigorous filter system for new freelancers. Lots of people get rejected these days, it’s not just you, Upwork has started limiting the number of freelancers accepted to the platform by rejecting most newbies applying to join the paltform.

If you've recently decided to work as a freelancer on Upwork, you'll need to pass their screening as Upwork profile rejection has become the norm with newbies not getting a chance to showcase their skills. It is frustrating to say the least to get a rejection message after spending all those hours trying to set up a profile that will convert potential clients to paying clients. To cut the long story short, profiles of new freelancers are going through some rigorous review by bots and Upwork Support team (that is just happy to reject new profiles).

Did u even bother reading what I wrote? I already mentioned that creating an Upwork account is free, but 99% of the time your account will be rejected by Upwork. Which is where I come in to help those rejected get approved!

So where does the exploitation come in? Don't just come to a thread and spit out garbage and name calling without an actual justifiable reason, there are jobs posted on Upwork by the minutes and if one actually takes the time to setup their profile professionally and write a convincing proposal, then getting a job there won't be an issue!

I've approved countless accounts and u don't see any one coming here to complain that they got exploited, so what do u think u know that u r speaking on their behaves? Do u know how many of them have gotten jobs on Upwork? Watch that itchy mouth of yours!

No you won't, upwork pays directly to ur local bank account be it a Nigerian account or otherwise, they'll convert the money to ur local currency and deposit it to ur bank account at 365N to $1.
