I stated categorically that in 4-2-3-1, the last four are forward. They should create for themselves first before we others. Martial is one of them. Lingard/Pereira/Mata, Martial, James, Rashford were to be held responsible first in terms of creativity. Currently, Bruno is now one of them.

It is not wrong. Even the right wing and lert wing are also called midfielders. But we are talking about central midfielders. This was why in my argument with you, we never considered Lingard in it. Tbh, we dodged a lot of bullets this last summer. Many of the players we were linked to no try at all this season.

Ndombele always looked suspect to me. As a rule I am always suspicious of central midfielders whose major attribute is running past people with the ball, especially when coming over from weaker leagues. Midfield is about control and composure.

In retrospect that Felix deal was pure madness. Even when it happened it seemed a little mad.

De Ligt is the one that has surprised me a little. I think he will still come good though.
