Got to ikoyi at exactly 11:15 am ,followed the instructions given here as a self applicant and all went well and smooth, though those officers were looking at me with one kind face once they see the brown folder with me buh I no send Dem at all ooo, some even ignored me in their cubicle when I greet them buh na Dem Sabi
Done at 1:15 pm and am asked to return my folder to the servicom..am dea now waiting for the officer cos he's not on sit.

correcting that date of birth can take 3months or more to be change. NIMC people are the useless set of people working with govt.

You can Google imo state liaison office in Lagos State, or your local government liaison office in Lagos State.

Those people are useless, they will be eager to collect 15k paid through eemittal but to effect the correct won't be done as soon as expected. Their popular word is "it hasn't drop" meaning it hasn't be corrected and sent from Abuja

Like I said, reason with the person so that he/she can help you to fast track this stuff. Never forget its your future ambition at stake and many a time you may have to go out of your way to get what what you want. I am speaking from the aspect of being a typical Nigeria.

At NIMC Nobody is fast tracking anything don't be deceived. They only send your proposal of change of date of birth and confirm your payment to FG account through remittal. it is being done at Abuja not from their alausa or other office branch. Don't deceive him he will wait atleast 3months before the change is effective, some are waiting over 3months sef. if it is gender and name correction that one is fast attended to but date of birth change, na lie and I stand to be corrected. NIMC are useless entity.

Yes! NIMC is a very very useless entity. But I stand to correct you, but not encouraging irregularities, that it can be done. What do i gain from deceiving him? This is a public forum so I would never give any contact. But it can be done.

Official price for new standard passport for 32 pages is 25k while the one for 64 pages is 35k
Documents needed are your birth certificate,passport page copy of your guarantor nd driver license,copy of your state of origin I think that's all i can remember for nw.
