At the gate, I was told nothng of such "Collection of CV's" was happening that recruitment was concluded early last year

To me the money is too much for ministry because they pay low. If this slot is for the likes of FIRS I would have advice you to go ahead. That amount can get you a slot in an agency that pay well.
