You know the best parts of the new Redmi note phones? They are the parts the majority aren't talking about because they didn't even watch the launch. The hear people say it's not worth it because 60hz, lcd no 108mp camera, blah blah blah and they jump on the train.

There are some small gains which would drastically improve user experience.

For example, my favorite part is that you can shoot raw images with stock camera. I first started hating infinix when I discovered my new phone couldn't snap RAW pics.

There is also the camera stability thing that was missing even in the note 8 pro wide/ultra-wide cameras, so if you are recording a video and walking, it would be obvious in the video. That doesn't happen in the Note 9 pro or pro max.

The image processing AI brings to the stock cam some features that many are rushing to get gcam for, eg night mode, and pro-color (snapseed guys should know this)

There is also a lot more haptic feedback variety that gives you a different unique feel based on what you are doing.

Those are besides the first 700 series SoC in a Redmi Note (720G on an 8nm process, which is rightly a big deal) and battery bump.

Say you prefer something else, but please don't say there's no difference between this and predecessors.

Mine is getting worse. I changed the wallpaper, no difference. The phone gets warm unnecessarily, even without using. The worst part is, if its fully charged the night before, and i off it, by the next morning it's down to 30% when i on it! Without using it o. Something is eating up my battery juice
happened to mye when i had redmi note 5,turns out it was a media file(cartoon) that was causing it.try deleting any media file u downloaded during the period the battery drain started

Since the launch of the iPhone X, We've been seeing phones launch at ridiculously high price tags. It is not really the 5G. 5G is expensive Yes, but they've been pricing phones higher than that 200k mark before 5G. The chipsets these days are even integrated with 5G.

What they need to do is actually give consumers what they need not what they feel the consumers should like...

There are no difference between redmi note 9 and note 8. It's just one or two changes. Mainly processor. and yr note 8 processor can perform as the new note 9. So no big deal. And talking about refresh rate, how many games supports 120hz

To me, I will pick xiaomi phone with amoled over this note 9. There is no noticeable difference...

Wat do u need a macro camera for? Are u a photographer?

Is NFC useful in Nigeria?

Some people will even go as far spending 200k cos of 5G. 5G that is not available.

Spend wisely my friends

wide-angle camera in video mode, at any resolution. I missed out that bit in my post. Redmi note 8 pro has it on its main camera (only). It's also better with pics than videos.

The Redmi Note 8 processor and RN9 Processor are not mates don't even go there.

As for NFC if you have peripherals that have NFC good and fine before NFC was used for payments, it served other purposes.

If anyone has the means he should spend whatever pleases him or her, the 200K shouldn't be your problem.

You speak of Macro lens like it is the first phone to come with it, news flash it is an old tech they only increased the resolution and broadened the functionality of the macro lens.

So I don't agree with a lot of points you pointed out.

This RN9 has a cut-out camera which is an iteration of the punch-hole cameras. RN6, 7,8 had different iteration of the infamous notch.

Yes. If you need OTG drives or adapter, I'm here for you. You can connect it with another device that support OTG and copy files directly from the other device. You can even charge another device with it (as powerbank)! Did the last 2 this morning with my LG G5.
I know of charging another phone, I never knew of copying files.. Will love to try this someday.
I enjoyed the joy and geeky feeling I had when I helped my friends connect their laptops via WiFi to each other, 3ith no thrid part software, when they wanted to copy Movies and has no portable storage device to use.. (Windows 7)

Yes I have checked the spec. And truth be told, I see no clear difference

Tell me tangible, useful difference between note 8 and note 9. And tell me wat note 9 can do that note 8 can't

Who gets a phone in naija cos of 5G waste money. Naija is not 5G ready even in 2030

'You're talking in the rubbish, you're talking in the nonsense, you're talking in the thing that dinnur have a good experience'

RN9 pro is surely an upgrade...Bigger battery, Corning gorilla glass 5 for the camera lens, catchy design,Side fingerprint (I personally love that),Better proccessor et al

I don't think RN9 pro comes with 5G and even if it does, how does being unable to use it inconvenient somebody?

lol. It was inevitable na. I love Naija and hope for the best but some signs are clear.

If e stop for 375, e for good.

My one big regret is that when first heard about the oil price crash, I didn't (I still don't) have money to change into dollars and stash.

Abi o, when i got S4 in 2019 the Exynos model, a friend got the SD(USA) model which had 4G, the phone was not useless and wasn't a waste when 4G finally came to Nigeria.

Some statements are baffling.

E.g there is no difference between SD 720G and SD 665. No be by force to talk.
