What are they expecting from a continent of less than 5000 people.

Antarctica is the least visited continent on earth

Antarctica,the coldest continent in the world, but what if someone with that deadly virus visits that place,na wahala bi dat o.

So we should all go there?

Antarctica that is always frozen, don't have coronavirus and here in Nigeria some are saying the virus can not survive under high temperature

There's no chinedu in Antarctica.

There are no houses in Antarctica neither just stations and labs owned by countries

During winter, you have less than 1000 people on the whole of that continent. We are currently in March. That means it should be winter over there right now if my geography serves me right.

During summer it rises to over 4000. Mostly scientists from the about 7 different countries that lay claim to territory on Antarctica.

I wish I was privileged to be employed in one of those military bases over there; even if it's a data entry job. I hate busy cities, I'm reclusive

Antarctical is not a country, it does not has a government neither does it has a military, it does not has a bondary and also does not has a known language or tribe. It is more of a planet than a country, the highest population ever recorded in Antarctica is estimated to be 2700 people, that is in the summer, during the winter the population reduces to about 1000 to about 700 people. Antarctica is reserve for medical and labouratory reseach that may be harmful to human.

Their winter will be summer in d northern hemisphere, which will be between June and August.

How on Earth is Antarctica even reckoned a Continent in d 1st instance??

It's highly characteristic of every Continent 2 comprise a number of countries & pple; how Antarctica fits in here as a ''continent'' puzzles me!

My social studies teacher told us some years ago that no lives exist in Antarctica because the continent is too cold for survival of human beings. What a fallacious teaching that was. Thank God for the social media.
