Easy Bros. And thanks for pointing things out to me. More importantly on the thread to improve my photography skills

You welcome bro. The 48mp camera on the Redmi Note 7 is a 12mp camera interpolated to 48mp. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it with time. Just remember that it's not all about the megapixels, rather, it's about the person handling it.

It's called obsolescence.

Obsolescence is the state of being which occurs when an object, service, or practice is no longer wanted even though it may still be in good working order.

They try to make the piece of tech or item sold to you previously obsolete so you can buy a new one.

There's several types but in the smartphone world, the two most important are
1. Planned obsolescence
2. Forced obsolescence

Planned obsolescence is what you have mentioned earlier, when an OEM builds flaws into their own products which cause it to wear out over a certain period of time

Forced obsolescence is when the individual is forced to update by either a radical change of technology e.g Micro USB to USB type C or when Apple used updates to slow older phones down so much that they lagged badly and the individual are forced to get new devices.

Forced obsolescence can also be achieved through functional obsolescence, that is when certain functionalities are withdrawn from older devices like telling Devs to stop working on a particular phone or like Google withdrawing support for Android 4.4 downwards or Microsoft withdrawing support from Windows 7 downwards. All na to make money on top our heads

Europe is pushing a legal injunction to makes phones last at least 5 years or more because as of now, the best you can hope for is 2 years. Anything else is OYO.

My redmi note 5A battery goes flat at a very fast rate now guess it's because I use a 2A charger for it.
Please is there any solution to it.

Let it drain completely then charge while switched off.

Are you on the latest update?

That is it, i buy good technology that serves me well and when it can no longer serves me the way i want, i move on to d next.
Personaly i buy the best at the moment knowing fully well that it may take me longer time to buy another one or sometimes what will serve me what future can offer. For instsnce i'm gamer so i buy phones with the best gpu and processor that can handle the most powerful games that may be released in a year or two ( not necessarily the most expensive) but the one that can get the job done.
That is why i normally discourage people from buying 2 or 3 years old samsung, iphone or so called classy brands because most of the time the technology has suppased them and they may not be able to handle the future.
I will rather buy quality but not fancy present, than quality fancy past.
I see people flash me 3 years old iphone that they just bought for 150k and i laugh within me because the phone is slower and most likely will not be capable of handling what is coming in december, where as u can get present day phone that could handle what is coming in december next year for same amount.

I thought as much. You actually do not have anything whatsoever to type.

Or you want to argue that the camera on the Redmi Note 7 is not 12mp and not interpolated to 48mp?

Or that the beauty of a picture from a camera is not dependent on the person handling it?

Which one do you wanna dispute?

Let's test your knowledge of camera.

Make corrections where necessary instead of cancelling out a valid opinion or you overlook.

CC: atheistandproud, you have someone that needs tutoring too.

Things to check out:
The CPU, I recommend at least a third/fourth generation Intel core i5. For example, Intel core i5 3xxx or Intel core i5 4xxx.
RAM, at least 4GB of RAM. 8GB if you are opportuned.
At least 250GB Hard disk drive.
A battery that can last approximately two hours.

Whenever I play Pes online with my phone, after some minutes of playing, the network bar of my two sims (even the one I'm not connecting with) go blank immediately and will need a reboot for it to gain network again.

Phone is Redmi 8. Just about 2 weeks old.

Suggestion??

Issues with that game is mostly not ram related. He should check if he downloaded the patch/bug fix file for the game. Playing on my note 8 smoothly without issues whatsoever
