Yes u are right, but will i not be stupid to spend 180k on
new iphone 8 or samsung galaxy s 8 when i can actually get realme x 2 pro with snapdragon 855+, 60 watt charger and other latest technology or better still buy xiaomi 10 with with snapdragon 855+ 30 watt charger, possible wireless charging and all modern technology and latest software for equal or less than the amount of older classy brands.

Generally this ur suggestion works mostly with lower midrange phones and if u check the price, the lower midrange phones will be far cheaper that the possible faster chips may not be factor anymore.
Most older versions dont get support anymore and if they do, it may be compromised support to rather kill the phone instead of making it efficient in the case of iphone.

Yeah of course I was talking mostly about midrange phones vs recent old flagships.
grin Ah definitely it'll be better to get the Realme than buying a new iPhone 8 in 2020.

And yeah that compromised support is a con, you must have heard about how Apple slows down older iPhones.

Not just iPhone (Apple), Samsung does it too low key.
They were both sued to court in France na not too long ago and they paid millions. Google it.

Despite all these, their fanboys no go let us hear word. RN4 and RN5 are still getting support for MIUI dev team. Does the Galaxy S5 or S6 still get updates? Does iPhone 4 and 5 still get updates? Like proper OS updates?

Yeah I read about the lawsuit.
Xiaomi actually does well with updates something even Samsung cannot boast about . Samsung flagships get two measly years of updates.
The iPhone 4 got 4 years updates and 5 actually got 5 years. The 5s from 2013 got support till 2018. 6s from 2015 is rumored to get iOS 14. Apple really tries in the update department.
I brag a lot about Xiaomi when it comes to updates, software support is really important.

Honestly it used to be my favourite. The speed was superb and the desktop string was really effective. It could render pages (in desktop mode) that ordinarily had glitches when accessed with chrome. But since the new update, they made a flop.

As for me chrome first then others follows

I get what you mean but you can actually recommend an older flagship if the SOC is faster than the present day phone. Especially if you're a gamer on a budget and you want a powerful chipset.
The 3 year iPhone should be the X,8+ and 8 using the A11 chips. Those phones are still very fast.
Same way a 2017 or 2018 Andriod running snapdragon 835 / 845 from the "classy brands" will handle anything intensive for a while.
You can check youtube for speedtests and real life usage videos if you doubt me.

You have a point. Flagship na flagship. Even Google pixel of 4 years ago would serve me well than some present day budget devices. Except in the battery department of course

I tried installing asphalt 9 on my rn7, but it failed after downloading almist 80% of the data (about 1.5gb). I tried to investigate the cause and found out it's because my device isn't Play protect certified. How do I resolve this, please?

The Laptop usage will determine the Specification you need to check out for, I personally prefer SSD over HDD and I won't buy anything less than Core i5 with 8gb of ram, battery at least three hours

but basically
check the ram, HDD/SDD

Check the Processor type and speed

Check all the Keyboards key and make sure you they are all working, if any of the button cease, just run and don't even hear any story unless you are planning to change the whole keyboard after purchase

Test the Bluetooth and WiFi

Test the Webcam

Test the Sound

Test and Check all the Ports and make sure they are all working,

Check the Battery Life and strength (don't trust the seller Battery Judgement, test it yourself)

Check the Charger

Also make sure the Flex does not have issue

Finally, make sure it's not a stolen Laptop, get a signed receipt, snap a selfie with the Guy while holding the Laptop and receipt...

If you can check all this Box, You are green to go
Thanks bro

It's not because your device isn't play protect certified.

It's simply network issue or playstore acting funny.

But it's definitely not because your device isn't play protect certified.

Here's what you should do, lock your playstore to ram or while downloading, don't leave playstore. Allow it to complete. Sometimes, playstore might close in background and once the first patch downloads at 80%, it'll fail and probably start all over again.

That's one of the issues with downloading heavy games from playstore.

WTF! This is fast becoming unbearable. How will my phone network bar just go empty for playing online game for a few minutes. That shii is just funny.

It takes only a reboot for it to even return. Just when I thought I'm off phone problems. I hope jumping on this Xiomi train won't be regrettable Shaa. Just 2 weeks phone ooh.

Hope you are not playing the game on high graphics/60fps? If you are not then probably It's a bug and I can only think of two ways to solve it:
1. Update your phone if there is any pending
updates. Yes it might slightly affect battery life
but It fixes bugs such as this.
2. If problem persists after update, you'll have to
backup your files and restore factory
settings...

How can screen light and android system be consuming over 55% of battery usage?
Also, I observed lately my RN4 battery has been running down unusually fast. It hardly last a full day usage for some months now. I tried googling the cause and someone on quora suggested Google duos and said to uninstall updates which I have done but I haven't noticed any appreciable improvement.

I'm not playing on high graphics. Neither am I using the 60fps, it is on 30fps. I have updated bruh. The problem still persist.

It is becoming really tiring and frustrating.

So. How do I back up my files and restore factory setting?
