Use of clock-in machines in Federal and State Ministries should be banned or suspended indefinitely to prevent the spread of Corona virus...State Ministries in Delta State use clock-in machines and nobody has deem it fit to alert the the governor to suspend with immediate effect it's use.
Civil Servants in the house can you please pass this across to the appropriate quarters...

Not necessary as long as hand sanitizers are provided and mandated for everyone's use. Clock-in devices are not the only contact everyone makes, should they remove the gates and door knobs too?
The only proactive measure is to close down offices too. Let's hope it doesn't get to that as schools and religious gatherings are already being banned.

Hand sanitizers is not the best option as coronavirus is known to survive on inanimate objects for 72 hours...unless every civil servant will be provided with hand sanitizers as it's price has skyrocketed since the pandemic...

Right beside the clock-in device, there should be hand sanitizers. Clock in and sanitize your hands at the entrance.
That's already how it is in some companies.
