Fighting Coronavirus is not the problem...... but the effects of CoV19 ... seriously affecting the economy of all countries.... is a major problem.... and even worse for Nigeria.... is the slump of oil price which directly affects Nigeria. At this time... when we have to be digging into our reserves to pay salaries.... buy petrol.... and keep the country running.... we find it fit to now spend N20b on a road.
No doubt... Buhari handled the last slump in oil prices pretty well.....but this time... the world economy is in shambles...we needed to conserve even more than the last time.... not spend more. Serious devaluation of the Naira is coming this time.

Even with the largest oil revenue under the useless and corrupt PDP, they did not complete anythig, just abandoned projects and many left dead and comatose on the drawing board.

The East West Road is the longest road in the South South region, running across 4 states or so in the region

It's one of the Trunk A roads in Nigeria

They have been working on that road for nearly 10 years

The project no dey ever end

after people from that region has petition the china to stop disbursement of that 22.7b loan, now to compensate the region they are awarding contract when recession and corona virus is hitting the country. misplaced priority.

At the end of the day less than #10b will be the actual amount that will eventually be released to the contractors the rest will be shared amongst corrupt politicians including buhari himself.
