We cannot shut our borders against our own citizens. The travel restrictions that was put in place yesterday doesn’t affect people with Nigerian passport. Most of the new cases that we’ve seen since yesterday are Nigerians who returned to the country.

More Nigerians who lived in Coronavirus ravaged countries will still return to the country and the figures of infected people in Nigeria will increase. What we should be looking at right now is how to contain the spread of the virus and not wailing about shutting borders.

If you are not dumb, you would have taken your time to read your own post and compare to mine. Cyprus that you referenced will continue to allow Cyprus citizens to enter the country and the same will continue to happen in Nigeria. All the new cases are mostly Nigerians that returned to the country.

But if he didn't have a travel history, how did they know that they needed to test him? I feel maybe he was in contact with one of the people that tested positive that's why. Cos I don't think they will just randomly pick someone from nowhere and just start testing him or her for the virus.
