I wonder where those that were on nairaland since 2005 are now, some are dead, some have gone broke that they can't afford a browsing phone to use nairaland, some have no time, some have been jailed, some have grown, some left here because they were offended. Some got married hence no time bcox of kids

The question is;

In the next 15 to 20years, will you and I still be on nairaland?

Will you be less active or more active by then?

Even Seun is not left out..

For me, I'll not be here, but my books will still be here representing me even when I leave earth.

If you want to be remembered when you're no longer active or when you're dead, produce a digital product that is evergreen, else you'll fade after 8 years of not being active.

William Shakespeare can't fade because he has put his ideas in a book. Banky W can't fade because he has put his ideas in a tape. Reno Omokiri will one day fade, except he puts his political ideas in a book. I think he has a book already. If yes, then he can't fade.

Those who only comment on Nairaland and gain popularity with their comments will all fade with time and and people will hardly remember them again.

This is to say: don't only use Nairaland as a place to have just fun and go, but a place to build your second legacy like a side hustle.

That's all I have to say and all the best to those who will fade and those who won't.

By the way, in 20 years time I'll buy the site from seün and convert it to a porn site.

I'll make seün an offer he can't reject, and if he tries to reject... I'll pay Russian Hackers from #sad+-.com to hack the site continuously until he yield.

I like lala, he's my favorite mod. I'll buy him a Castle in Snakes Island and build him the world biggest snake restaurant.

I joined NL about 10 years ago. I had a clique too. We were very popular (back then, you know you've made it when Seun follows you). I later became friends with some of them in person and today, they all claim that they've moved pass NL but I know a good deal of them are hiding here observing the newer generation. grin grin grin
