Vehicle repair services in Abuja can be very expensive, time consuming and sometimes unsatisfying, these is why most vehicle owners will tell you they do not like Abuja mechanics. Well, there is good news, while we accept that Abuja is filled with so many corrupt and unreliable persons and organizations posing as Auto-mechanics we at CarFix Vehicle Solutions will continue to assure you of our reliability, honesty and professionalism. Anyways this particular topic is not about us, it is about you and how you can get the best vehicle repair services in Abuja.

In this post we are going to reveal to you some of the deeply hidden secrets in the vehicle repair industry in Abuja that is making it very difficult for vehicle owners to access good vehicle repair services, and then we will show you how to get the very best vehicle repair services in Abuja and reveal to you how to protect your vehicle from the activities of poorly skilled mechanics whose focus is only on your money.

The problem with Abuja Mechanics
Before taking your vehicle to any mechanic in Abuja you need to know that 85% of automobile mechanics in Abuja are road side mechanics or people that operates from temporary vehicle repair workshops, they pay huge amount of money to rent those places temporarily and most times they are not even sure if they will be allowed to stay there for long due to AMAC or FCDA regulations.

Due to the above reasons most mechanics in Abuja are constantly trying to make as much money as they can from you and that is why even when your vehicle is in good condition and all you had was a minor issue that needs an easy fix, a money focused mechanic will create new problems for you to get more money. This is a painful truth that has to be told, It is even more painful when you take your vehicle that is working very fine to the mechanic workshop only to leave with a badly damaged vehicle.

There are mechanics that have been known to exchange a vehicle’s factory fitted components with fake Chinese components while fixing your vehicle and still charge you heavily for the fraud. In this case the mechanic will benefit from charging you to replace your original factory fitted spare part that had no problem with a cheap and fake spare part, He will also benefit from reselling that spare part in the automobile scrap market.

How to get the very best vehicle repair services in Abuja
It can be tricky and difficult at times to get the very best vehicle repair services in Abuja, You will have to watch out for some of the following:

Honesty: A good vehicle repair service provider should keep an inventory of all the replaced parts from your vehicle and return them back to your custody once the vehicle is fixed and you are ready to leave the workshop. this shows honesty and reliability on the side of the vehicle repair workshop. Now most fraudulent mechanics will look for damaged spare parts around the workshop that does not belong to your vehicle and try to hand them to you as spare parts removed from your vehicle, so, I will show you how to tell the difference even if you are not a technically inclined person.

See below. 0w20 will give you the best fuel economy. Hopefully they haven't been using 20w50 before.

Email support in my signature for quote please.

And if hopefully was not the case.... As in if 20W50 was used.

Two, maybe three choices
1. Stick with 20w50 till the engine packs up
2. Gradually shift over to proper oil so engine doesn't get clogged and knock
3. Have engine taken apart to check for sludge, cleaned if necessary then use proper oil (my personal favorite choice)

That is most likely an altered mileage. Just focus on engine performance as mileage won't help much here

The crack engine block issue doesn't affect all 8 th generation Civic.

Just make sure you buy 08 and above if possible.

On a good note, since we do not have freezing condition in naija this sort of issue rarely happens. Just make sure to test drive the car like say an hour... Check the temperature gauge, cause if the engine is seriously cracked it will likely overheats, then drive to a lube bay and have it thoroughly inspected for leaks.

How much would it cost to get engine inspected for sludge and servicing?

I need advise on this issue, the 2006 Toyota corolla I just bought from USA have single key and two remote but I don't know if d key is Master or Valet key, my reason is that the key couldn't open d door from driver side, could not open d trunk but can open d door from passenger side. If I used d key from passenger side alarm will blow continuously which I used one of d remote to stop it. Out of d two remote, one can start d car from far.
I'm presently using remote to open d door from driver side and if remote spoil what do u think will b solution or any advise on this. Pls gurus in the house over to u.

Good afternoon great Engineers
Pls I have a camry 2.2 tiny light. The car runs fine but whenever I engage the gear and AC the engine stutters on idle and keeps jerking till I move. We ve serviced nozzle and injector mouth.. Still the problem persists, the mech has even increased my firing system above 1RPM yet to show. Am wondering if I can get the solution to my problem.

Please someone should assist me. I bought four brand new tyres for my car- a Toyota Siena. Factory tyres were 205/60/16 but I upgraded to 215/65/16 but unfortunately the back tyres were touching the struts so I was advised to use 215/60/R16 for the back while the front remained 215/65/R16.

Please will this have any impact on the vehicle? May be my mind is playing games with me that the car is consuming fuel.

Please any negative impact on the vehicle?

Tnx

You were supposed to buy 215/55/16 instead. Even the front will touch the mud flaps when you turn the steering to extremes

Since u just brought them, and can still change without paying extra, why not make everything 215/60/16?

No the front tyres ain't touching the struts. I enquired from chief of this thread, Gaz before the upgrade and he told me to fire on.

My concerns are if any negative impact since front tyres are a bit bigger than the back tyres.

It just occurred to me that there is no way the tyre setup will ever touch your strut they don't see eye to eye. Your issue is the spring is too small for the tyre so if your rear shocks are weak or you load the body too much the tyre will touch the car arch at any vibration.

You can confirm yourself, the sienna rear struts are under not at the sides like the front

Oga Nurey,

I did it on my last Camry drop light n it did touch the strut...(I had to google what the strut mean to reconfirm) n.yeap it was the strut.

In a bid to increase height I put 216/65 R15 n the back tires (when I bump) touches the strut but the front was ok.
Had to switch with a fellow stoplight that used 205/65 r15

So front n back tyres specs were diff

With time you'll get use to it... Climb bump slowly... And for port hole put one leg in pothole and one leg outside the pothole, if you can't avoid it.

It took me say 2 weeks after which no more issues. You will love the handling of this ride.

You can also try using larger tyres.

Camry rear setup is different from sienna. Sienna strut and springs are side by side, camry own is married together
