I once said it that with the way things are going, we will have more rich and financially stable women than men in africa in the next 20 years.
Simply because a system has been carefully, silently and systematically laid down for women to grow, be empowered or rich in any condition they find themselves.
If a lady decides to be hardworking, goes to school and study - she has a chance of getting a good job and be stable, infact alot of industries are encouraging more women to work thereby creating slots to empower women. E.g is my Industry where "Women in Maritime sector" has been created and the first lady (Aisha Buhari) was the spoke person late last year at Nimasa. Ladies snapping onboard and showing women in maritime board and uploading on social media.
Mind you, all these slots are for men who are the traditional providers they are systematic disarming and rendering useless.
I also noticed that this campaign was targeted at the officers department of captain, chief mate, second mate, chief/second/third engineering departments.
All the ladies never campaign for the hard and dirty job part of the ship done by Able seamen who wash down the ship, chipping and painting, mopping cabins with low salaries, it is the less stressful but high paying department they all want to rush to.
I read an article about women in Europe and america complaining about not getting financially stable guys to date because they are having more rich ladies than men which is what am forecasting next 20 years in Africa with the way government is disarming traditional providers.
The question now is, why don't these rich ladies marry these struggling men and bring them up the way men have been doing for donkey years? Why?
Why are most ladies soooooooo sooooo selfish to make impact in the life of men? Why?

what you are explaining is already happening in South Africa. Although for entirely different reasons (guys are somewhat less motivated than girls), and the girls are coming up strong.

A look at the morning traffic into town will show you 80% of the brand new cars are driven by young women. Men mostly drive second hand cars.. The only relief is women this side, especially late 20s, can date less successful men and even jobless guys, provided they show potential and can accept the women's help and better themselves. And many guys do.

But generally many guys can't be bothered with these women. Because the men are intimidated anyways. And have even given up on bettering themselves.

Nigerian men however have been fast to spot the opportunity and in making use of the dynamic.
