You can practice there while reading. Be dedicated to it. If you dedicate your time and effort on that site for 6 months, you will see a great change in your javascript programming skill.

I wish you all the best that life can offer.

Do you mind if I work for you for free. I have basic knowledge of javascript, html5, data structure. I've created a crud web app using jquery, bootstrap, and json db, currently working on my portfolio site. I can relocate anywhere. Just need opportunity to gain real life experience. I grew up in a very poor family.

I won't say am very rich now. I'm still in the process and I love the fruitful results am seeing.

While in schools, I went into DIGITAL MARKETING and COPYWRITING, that's what's fetching me money now and am pretty cool with it.

The journey has not been easy so far but is the determination to escape poverty that has kept me going.

My advice to anyone born poor is this:
"if you die poor is your fault"

BRO, pls how can you help me on this digital marketing and copywriting??

Will appreciate if you can put me through.

Here is my whatsapp line o7o 6933 6594

When God wipe your tears you won't even remember you have ever cried. Remember going on WhatsApp and other platforms asking for vacancy, done so many odd jobs, worked in a feedmill for free and so on. Got a federal job in an agency the pay is lovely that it shocked me all thanks to God.

Not every one will make it. Some of us has given up just patiently wating for d end to come let's get out of did shit called life. I am just existing now.

You have already accepted your faith.

The heavens can give you rain but will never give you a bucket

God invented tears but never invented the tissue paper, man did.

So if you think you are destined to be poor keep waiting for a breakthrough. No sort of help rendered to you will ever yield to anything if you already have this mindset.

Because you have accepted failure. Failure is not a Nigerian trait

You will give it a TRY?

Oh you men of Little faith!

Not like that sir. I have done more than that a lot of times, even fasted for, over two weeks on the instructions of numerous pastors and prophets. I even became a member of winners church temporarily while searching for healing. I just seem to have accept my fate.

I must commend your skills and determination, but honestly, right now, I cannot employ more than the staff I have now because I already have 1 intern and another working as a freelance just as you explained, and I don't want to over strain my budget for staff salary to avoid the startup going bankrupt.

Have you tried working on upwork and freelancer What I can do for you is to keep you as one of my freelance workers whenever I have a job that requires extra hand, I can call on you, but I will need to see your portfolio

I was the best student in my department when I dropped out in 200 Level . I could not stand seeing my old father suffer , doing dirty Jobs for ppl just to train me in the university. Besides , I was not enjoying anything in school then. My high school teachers were better than my lecturers . I felt like my lecturers were taking my life back. I dropped out and took over my mum's business . she was making roughly 20k a month from the biz. I added my ability and was able to raise 1m and a van from the biz under 6 moths. I am not yet rich , but am happy . I am currently planning to start a micro loaning firm. I Will go back to school as a millionare soon because I want to be a lecturer

You sound like one of those who have eaten 4 storey building and dont beleive people could save and be so focused to achieve their set goals. Go back and calculate how much a plot of land and bag of cement cost in 2006. Outside smoking and eating dog head What else were you doing with your own money in that year? If they check your stomach and wardrobe they will probably see 5 estates that you eat in the name of enjoyment

God lifts the poor from the dunghill to the throne thats the God i serve. You forgot to ask me how I have had Canada and US visas from 2012 to 2021? Steady visas back to back not Congo or Ghana visas

Land is 500k in Ibeju lekki now but you wont buy instead your target is iphone 11 pro max and Tomorrow when someone is testifying you will come ask dumb questions

Don't use me to chase clout Mr. The topic says how do you escape poverty, what is your story? you just wrote *you gain admission and you build 4 bedroom apartment* if you have stated it clearly in your post that you save i won't ask such question. You can brag for all i care, you don't know me either kò sì ẹni tí Ọlọhun ko ṣe fún

I concentrated on my books. started doing private lessons for people, wrote projects for people etc to pay jamb fee, pay school fees and survive in Uni. Started practicing all the possible past questions for job tests and interviews. i worked as a sim card registration point for some months after nysc. I graduated with a good grade so i was able to apply to a lot of companies. I managed to get Deloitte and after that moved to a better company.
At least for now I ma better off.

Mine was rough , I mean rough. Though I still manage to have an HND, job wasn't forthcoming after school. So, I joined spring bank with my ND where I was on same salary for almost eight years . It was from hand to mouth , no savings nothing , nothing till one day I decided to start a business. Idea came from a stranger I know not. After that , another hurdle- money. Eventually, money came from unexpected source and business began in earnest. Within a year , I bought a car , and six months later I started my building project. Though I almost fell back into poverty again due to marital issues, but I'm glad where I am today. As we speak, I live in my own small but beautiful house , still doing business to which farming has just been added. I do hope and pray God says ashey to my hustle. It had not really been easy though God has a way of ameliorating my burdens. Praise jah.

Please Elaborate on the marital issues please. Thanks.

Thanks so much, bro. I have read a couple of your very helpful comments on this thread.

I would like to ask you about the availability of jobs in Nigeria for one skilled in, lets say, Javascript? Sometimes I see people pleading to build websites for people on here and it isn't very cool, yet I know some other guys are really earning a decent sum through programming.

I would like to be among the second group lol. So that's why I asked about being around a community/network. Thanks.
