Most of the hospitals databases link up to the national health database. So the John Hopkins research hospital's code simply milks the collated data.

All hospitals feed their databases, patient prognosis, diagnosis, cause of death, next of kin, race, department that attended to him or her, race, medical history. These are then milked by the algorithm often AI based specified datasets. That's how they get the accurate estimates.

Italy recorded 900+ dead rate in 24hrs, Spain 700+ dead rate in 24hrs. If you are not using face mask right now you should please get one. Stay safe.

Even celebrities can't get tested not to talk of ordinary Americans. I have a friend in Detroit who went to Henry ford hospital twice with symptoms and was sent home without a test.

South Korea has been testing more than 100k per days for weeks before US even started testing.

No, they are not.
Trump has been pressuring the CDC to stop regular reporting.
The numbers shared here are estimates as the CDC has stopped tracking.

Each state are sharing their data based on the discretion of the governor and
we know that Trump-loving states are going to manipulate figures to make him look good.

No one knows how many confirmed cases are in the US.

Nope. US does massive testing to capture as much infected patients as possible to enable early eradication of the virus. The total number of confirmed cases on WHO website is very much less than the number of infected people cos only 4 nations are doing massive testing; US, Germany, China and S.Korea.

All we are good at is reporting the cases of other countries. What effort are the authorities over doing to ensure that the general populace is being tested?

Bleep I am starting to have bad feelings that it's China that made this shit. Their cases drastically reduced like nothing happened. When they are ready to stop it a vaccine will be released. This is just what I think not even sure it is true.

If the US is first in number of people infected but 6th in number of deaths, it means they're doing something right.
Not really.
First, the US has miscategorized some causes of death as pneumonia/common flu.
Second, it is the number of death to recover that matters, not the number of death to tested.

Many of Italy and Spains death are from those who were tested several weeks ago and who has been
battling the disease. The disease hardly causes instant death.

We will know if the US has been doing something right(no evidence for this unless they are hiding it) in 3 to 5 weeks time.
