At this point it is useless blaming anybody! Let's ALL ARISE and ask GOD for MERCY. IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND TURN FROM THEIR EVIL WAYS, I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND I WILL HEAL THEIR LAND. that's God's word. THE WORLD HAS REFUSED TO DO THIS. All we've been doing is complain complain and yet another complain, has it helped NO! So why don't we listen to God's word and see what happens. Even if a cure would come, it has to be dropped by God into the heart of whoever. By strength shall no man prevail. Am only but a messenger! |

nickvanilla: So you want an hourly report right? Does that make sense to you? Even the countries with higher casualties like CHINA, USA, ITALY, FRANCE and the rest give updates once in 24hrs, in the morning for the previous day or late at night after results from different states and regions are handy. We all know the government did not prepare for this pandemic but as per reporting on the little they have done, they are on top of it. |

as the days go by more cases will be recorded because more than 50% of Nigerians are already infected it's just that they have not been discovered yet. Even those states that are yet to record any case should be careful because the chances of having carriers in those states are there |

All these money people donated is enough to acquire test kits and supply them to all the local government in Nigeria and make them available to at least 3 or 5 wards in the local government for massive Corona virus test. Does it mean that these figures are not coming in contact with people on daily basis,? The figure being reported are the ones they were able to get, what about those that have it but don't know they have it. We need more proactive measures |

But what in God's name is stopping the Federal government from locking the country, at least for the time being! This is not.the time you allow any kind of person saunter into the country from God knows where. This is no longer about safeguarding the economy it is about life security. 80 cases are more than enough for the country to combat. Must they always resorting to doing the right thing at the wrong time? |

Things slowly getting out of hand... My state is currently on lockdown no movement on the main road, markets and businesses closed. Am in my compound under isolation but my street is like a market ground everyone joking about the virus spreading and infecting themselves in the process. NCDC should do more about the confirmed cases like adding a narrative. Stay safe people and self isolate. |

efighter: There is no hatred here.. The countries you named above did a mistake towards the pandemic which we witnessed but we decided to take the same route... Check all the confirmed cases in Nigeria,It's either someone that came back from abroad or someone that have contact with someone that came back from abroad.. Some people are just dumb in this country,is there bad governance in Italy and USA and see the number of cases.just social distance measures we can abide too.imagine someone closed his church in the states and left the nigerian branch open.in some days now he will call Buhari out as the cause of the pandemic. Educated illetrates everywhere.if this virus has brought countries with good health structure, governance to thier knees what where we expecting here, Miracles I guess.lets continue our stupidity we never see anything 1 Like |

justus7:...if the government comes short. Are the citizens goats? A case is in view in my hometown at the moment. He died a day after he came home with obvious symptoms of the virus. Coming from China, then Lagos and couldn't self-isolate or come forward but knows his way home. Now, how many of these locals have gone to hug and welcome their son I ask you again, how is the government responsible for one man's wickedness/selfishness |

friday2011:haba! So the live figures you see on CNN and all those world readings that you see being updated almost per minute are not from US, Italy or France abi? Stop this abeg Watch CNN for just 30mins and you will see the figures in real time, and you will hear the anchor from time to time stating the total stats as it progresses. Just say that is how Nigeria chooses to do its own, probably cos COVID testing is still abysmally low (< 200 subjects) |
Re: Coronavirus: Nigeria Confirms 11 New Cases, Total Now 81 by lajid: 8:58am On Mar 28, 2020 |
loswhite: That is why you need to start acting it. The panic going around is even more deadly than the virus itself. Even job in the bible said "what I feared has come upon me". Fear corona virus and likely you will be afflicted. Mind you, fear is not bad, it is when we harbour it and live in it that make it bad. |
