a LadyBeee: Hahaha, typical Nigerians. Your wish cannot change or affect reality. Start practising safe distancing as much as you can. A lot more people will die; I mean a lot. This is a statistics of how many Nigerians died during the Spanish flu (1918), I believe they didn't teach this in school. I am sure it won't be this bad but plenty of people will still die. 1 Like

Oluneutral: It's the right of any citizen to return to their country in times of distress and it's the responsibilty of any Govt to bring back its citizens who made such requests in times of crisis. I will advise we at least try to read and follow international news before forming a conspiracy theory. It's simple a law and nations are making arrangements to bring their citizens home in these trying time. US,UK,Israel, France, Spain, china, korea,Japan are all bringing back their citizens. And it's wrong to blame any Nigerian that returns to the country cos it's their fundamental right. The failure is the irresponsibility of the FG to quarantine and test her citizens at the port of entry. Nigeria should have learnt from other countries but No they allow the returnees to leave the airport to their respective destinations without any checks while they continue spreading the virus. Now it's clearly obvious the number we are seeing is grossly deceptive cos many people are already infected without knowing it and it won't be long until community spread become apparent. I simply hope the Govt is willing and able to manage their incompetency. |

I don't see any big deal here, a good country ,a working country with good leaders will evacuate her citizens in times like this,it has nothing to seeing or not seeing . After all these countries evacuating their citizens have recorded more cases than us. |
