You're not making sense sir. I'm sorry to say. People are dying in number you hide yourself in forest where they said you build your house.

And you are there spewing nonsense.

Who are d people dying, where are they dying and what is killing them? How does d people dying negate what d prof said?

Why don't we just learn from the mistakes of others. US was busy playing politics with this same virus, today they have a reality they wish they never had to experience (and the number of casualties keeps increasing).

I am in Ogun State. I was not happy with the lockdown but understands that it is necessary to nip this problem at the bud, but our Government believes that scoring cheep political point is more important than our wellbeing.

I wonder which is better, given relief material to people in their home while the lockdown is enforced or allowing them to come for it and risk sending them home with a virus they never had.

To all those who have become emergency lawyers, I hope you know that all these so called leaders that we hail have access to unlimited flow of money and the best medical treatment money provide.

Stay save.

In all u have said, u didn't highlight how d virus came into d country in d first place. If our leaders "access to unlimited flow of money and the best medical treatment money provide", were are they going to spend d money& get d best medical treatment based on d present situation?

When you understand the transmission matrix of coronavirus you will know the reason why Lagos and Abuja should be under lock down. Ask China how they were able to successfully fight the virus. Prof you be novice for this angle. Shine your eye make you learn. This one no be speaking of grammar. Beijing was not locked down. Wuhan where the virus emanated is centrally located which means proactive measures must be done to control movement.

I wish iam the president I would have allowed every body to walk the way they want. If they die I will just say rip.
Government is trying it best to see that this virus is track down but some people are asking for legality.
In terms of chrises like this our national security is threatened and when a national security is threatened, the president have the vector power to issue any directives before conveying his request to the national assembly for deliberation.

Based on what u have said, can u pls explain how d virus came into d country in d first place?

By d way, what is "vector" power?

something that killed more than 10,000 Italians in less than 2 months, you are calling "common cough n catarrh" you and d old prof are madt.

That's a whitemen disease, naturally they have high fatality when exposed to malaria and FLU.

A blackman is immune against such diseases. To me coronavirus is just a common cough n catarrh
Re: Soyinka Reacts To COVID-19 Lockdown: 'We Are Not In War Emergency' by kokomilala(m): 9:27pm On Mar 30, 2020
WS is right. We are not in a war emergency. The president in a federal structure cannot just use presidential fiat to say this or that; to restrict movement or impose curfew. Those attacking Soyinka do not have a good grasp of what a federal government means. When Trump, some days back, threatened to quarantine New York,Cuomo, the governor ,said it would be illegal to do that. Then Trump dropped the idea.
It's only in war situations that the president in a presidential system can use emergency laws to act with sweeping powers in a way to overrule the states.
Buhari has acted outside his constitutional rights. And for me,the governors that acquiesced and became quiescent simply don't have balls. In short, they've acted more sheepishly than stupid sheep.

Prof should go and seat down Abeg! Even the developed country with all their advancement are practicing this lockdown to save lives. It took this man this long to correct his mistakes and people are now complaining. How on earth can you please world people ni !!! shocked

And making provisions for their people....What has Buhari and co done to make sure that the people are taken care of?

Wasn't he suppose to coordinate these efforts from the beginning alongside the govs?

So after the governor's has done their own lockdown he too is doing lockdown

Without Mass Testing, we are just cooking a recipe for disaster.

Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones.

At this point, we should not be looking at how it came in, but how can we get out of it. And while we are also trying to discuss how 'WE' can survive it, this case requires you to save yourself first.
