Most (if not all) of the people I saw calling COVID19 a scam were igbos. They said it was a ploy by government to siphon funds.

Why would anyone even think that the government would scam the entire country with news of a pandemic and even smear the name of Italy in the process? The Italian embassy did not debunk the news that their citizen was our index case. But igbos and PDP were calling it a scam.
