Wow! Not surprised it made FP. We need a fish as a moderator too. Serpents and Marine spirit are too evil that Nairaland can't do without.

I went to the site where they are building house for me to supervise them around 6pm today. As I was trying to lean on the wall, this snake popped up from the hollow block. It is using the hole in the block as its dwelling place.

Thank God it didn't harm any body.

Please what is the name of this snake?

Garden snake... Not poisonous

I have once seen a smaller size of this snake before when I was walking along a bushy road. It was crossing the road and I felt it's not a dangerous snake. So I had to just pass by it's side and walk away.

Op,it is called a Garten or garden snake.
That is not a mamba.

It may also be a mamba. Black mambas could either be green or silver in colour.

Another valid school of thought. Black mamba, boomslang...both poisonous and highly lethal.

Since the Snake touched your hand, you need to go for seventeen days self-isolation. That snake must have covid 19 that was the reason it came on self-Isolation inside the hollowed block instead of living in a green grass.
You also need to report to the FG for relief material and financial support. I think am communicating!
