I'll write about the transportation system here, Lets consider the Dublin Bus that you can see below.
The buses are scattered around the map like how a vein is around the human body. And it's the cheapest public transportation.
They're mostly a two decker bus with the exception of those ones that goes to the airport and to other countries like Cork, limerick.... it appears on the map after you write your route and tells you when it will get to your stop.
All of them are equipped with wifi, the older ones do not come with a USB port for charging but the newer ones come with USB. They have heaters and handrails because it's normal to move around while it's in motion.
Trust me, if you dont know your way around, a low battery is how you get lost and become frantic.
You need to have the exact money before you enter the bus, you can get from local shops. Nobody explained to me when I first came, I spent about 10min waiting for one bus in the cold and when it came, I gave the driver €10, he showed me the door because he didnt have change.
Another convenient option is to simply get a leap card. You simply tap a machine inside the bus and it beeps(Shout of joy for swallowing your hard earned money).
Using the student leap card, When you hit the €5 mark for the day, anywhere you go to is Free. When you hit €20 mark for the week, anywhere you go us free.
I wont lie, theres how my heart beats whenever I convert the money to naira. Kai, e no easy.

The Luas is a tram that runs on electricity, its not too fast due to the fact that it moves within the city.
It more expensive than the bus and on the map, it operate in a Cross pattern covering the east, west , north and south. The one for the east to west feels like the green line, the red line covers the north to south. I might have interchanged them.
The luas has to stop at every stop which makes it slower, but during rush hour, it's more dependable than the Dublin bus as the bus can take twice the time to get to the city centre.

The luas has lots of room for standing which will allow more people in during rush hour.
Standing isn't permitted on the Dublin bus.
Wifi isnt present in all the trams.
A person has to be careful that you dont miss your spot during this period because the crowd can block your view when you're seated and because it might stop for the traffic light to allow it to pass, you may not know your stop.
That big machine you see, I caused drama after I left my hostel to get to the apartment. I didnt know where to put the money, get the ticket and how I wont get lost in this strange advanced city.
I pride myself to be good with machines and technology, this machine brought me to my knees, in order not to cause an damage to the machine, I simply signalled those around me for help.
I love taking the tram when it's not empty as I enjoy the view.

What are you doing in Dublin where I got broads dying to leave that place for Australia or US for years now
Remember he first applied to Canada before he changed his mind.
Not everyone wants to live in Australia or the US, some people just view life from a different angle.
Other factors could be the cost of studying in those countries, the acceptance rate, etc...

I know someone in the USA that's planning to switch to Ireland.
Different strokes for different folks.
After 4months, my admission letter for Canada came. I didn't bother applying because Ireland had more to offer in terms of studies benefit

I think some type of visa will be very easy to get after this corona shit is over, most western countries will go into recession, some badly hit economies will go into depression .

Wellllllll from my background as an Economist, the opposite might happen, this is one of the biggest news of the century Globally.
When theres a recession, they might reduce the number of people coming in, sadly.

This is almost 8pm, I really dont know what's going on, longer days. Nigeria is one hour ahead of Ireland which is a good thing for calling and keeping connection to home.
Longer days don start. Winter is going.
During the winter, daylight starts at 9am.
And it gets dark around 5pm
All the chimes in my Geography class about longer days in summer and shorter days in winter, they didnt make semse in Nigeria but here, it now make sense.

It snowed, this in February, it was mild and very little.
The locals said they only like the snow because of their kids so they can come out, play with it by throwing it about, making snow men, and other fun stuffs.

Ireland do not have much snowfall in reality due to the fact that it is situated in a region that makes it enjoy all kinds of weather, from humid to dryness, to rainfall, to lots of sun, to cloudy conditions to windy conditions, to snow also. I like the fact that I dont sweat even when i jog and i get home clean and refreshed.

Little wonder why we don't have reptiles here like snakes, lizard and others. Legend tells it that in addition to introducing Christianity to Ireland, St. Patrick banished all the snakes from the Emerald Isle, chasing them into the sea from atop a cliff where he had undertaken a 40-day fast.
Scientifically, it is believed that snakes couldnt come in the first place because the weather wasn't favourable to them.
You can see lots of trees that look gothic and gloomy in my pictures, you need to see them now I'm typing, they're beautiful, I'll show you later.
The winter affects the trees badly but not the grass. They're green all year round due to the constant rainfall.

You're welcome man
Fees in 11500
4M for POF or you can do 2.7M student bond, 95% Visa assurance
I brought 1M in cash
Theres no need for paying huge money to agents and then you get scammed, Ireland provides us with free agents paid fully by either the Irish government and universities I think, check the Irish thread to get the information. You can use the search function. I knew people who didnt pay a dime to get top notch consultation.

Let it not be like I am advertising them. What I get per hour is enough o.
Inspiration don dey come.

Like you paid 4m or 2.5m for fees?

The first pic was the evening of Ireland lockdown due to the covid virus, I remembered I needed to buy rice and other items.
There was almost nothing on the shelves, even those outrageously expensive items we normally ignore was wiped out, it scared the crap out of me. After the announcement was made by 11am I guess, people stormed the supermarkets, malls in search of food. Those who came and couldnt find the items they wanted started to abuse the staff verbally. They had to invite the Guards- Garda, that's what they call their police here. I think it's their native name for the cops.

Me as an African man, I jejely carried my nylon and walked out, I started to imagine, the prices of the food items wasn't increased, they ran out of stock because, the staffs there couldnt restock as quickly as possible.
The next morning I came there, to my surprise, the shelf was full to the brim and more staff was available to restock and attend to the impulse and bulk buying.
I bought times two of the essential stuffs I needed, just so you know, the prices didn't change
if I had a car, I would have filled it with groceries.
But this creates a big problem for those that will buy when I leave.
If I was in Nigeria, I would have been in a very terrible and critical situation, you all know why.
Humans will always be human, this is why we need a sane government. Because these supermarket are very large and they supply the grocery needs of people it's easy for the government to regulate them and observe for changes in price due to increase in demand.
How many market women and men will the government influence. These are trying times indeed.

Going out to the park to exercise and take in some of the Sun's energy. No power frenzy military men here is going to make me do frog jump, Lol. As long as we keep our 2meter distance, I'm safe.

We can go to the supermarket, bank, even some warehouses are open.
How in the world will people stay indoors in Nigeria, what if the food runs out. Hian
See ya later.
