Why is a call recorder important? I've never had a need for that feature.

If you are a businessman, or u interact with people a lot on a daily basis, its an important feature you need to have on your device, been using it since 2016 on my max1.

Redmi note 9s came with Google app again, no call recorder function, miui dialer.

Xiaomi with their naming scheme

Another round of confusion this year, just like the note 5 back then

Redmi note 9pro
Redmi note 9pro max
Redmi note 9s

More confusion still dey come

Global versions have always had gapps from time immemorial, or did I miss where they stated otherwise?

Oh! Okay. Isn't that a breach of confidence or do you inform them that the call is being recorded? Just curious.

Like the hullabaloo about call recording, people forget that before Xiaomi there were third party apps that we used that year like way back 2012/2013

I wonder. I am sure when Google rolls out the feature the person whose call you are recording will be aware and probably grant permission before the recording goes on. That is what EU are clamouring for. Call recording is a breach of privacy and confidentiality.

I don't use call recording, but I believe it's essential. It can help one out of a difficult situation. Privacy ko, confidentiality ni

I remembered when my babe wanted to play a fast one on me, I just replayed all our calls.

Don't mind the Xiaomi fans, the thing make sense especially for those business minded people

You could always buy an Infinix or Samsung device since it's the single deciding feature for you to own a smartphone.

You can buy another brand, no one is forcing you to use a Xiaomi product.
