Yes and you are the greatest brainwashed individual on earth for being unable to see the lies of western prosperity. There is no prosperity anywhere. Prosperity is dead! Free yourself and stop being a proud slave. Western countries are glorified shithole living under a bubble that just got busted
I didn't disagree with you.
Even looking at the phone you are using, we all know it is the product of poverty and not prosperity.

The media is in on the game, they did not report the millions of test kit and protective materials we
shipped to Italy last week.

Most people are slaves and didn't even know that Nigeria had never experienced any depression, unlike the US in 2008 and the
catastrophic 1932.

They are coming for us all. Be afraid!

lol. I just told a friend the same thing. I am not bothered again.
I can bet my left ballz that there are close to ten thousand of persons already with the virus. I pity only the old and people with underlying predisposing diseases
That is the bitter truth most Nigerians are finding hard to swallow due to their fear coupled with ignorance. I told one Angelfrost here the other day and he was calling me doomsday.

You're delusional. Even with this pandemic, its better to be in those countries than Nigeria

Are you sure of what you are saying? I doubt it. Please watch CNN tonight and for the rest of this week... come back here and sincerely tell us your opinion.
I have been watching CNN for the last one month. As far as Corona is concerned, it's far better to be here than in the West. Donald Trump really bungled things over there.

You guys are clowns. This got nothing to do with the kind of government. America, Canada are now looking like third world shitholes with piles of dead bodies everywhere. In fact they have always been shitholes but the average nigeria is brainwashed to think we have it bad here when nigeria is the best and most developed country in the world. Western societies living under a bubble.

Thank you. God will bless you and make you a star of this generation.

This is the height of delusion, you don't have to lie to make yourself feel better.
If we are the best and they are shit holes, why are we migrating there in millions and migration in the reverse direction is close to zero.
We have been brain washed to believe we have it bad, but when we do travel there, we don't snap out of the illusion, instead we swear never to come back home; and we start working to move our entire extended family over there with us, and the cycle continues decade after decade.
All this because we are brainwashed?
If Nigeria was as badly hit as US or UK that is when you would see dead bodies littering the streets.

The government can only do and say so much. Sanwo Olu is really trying but Lagosians are not listening. We really need to change our attitudes
The government is wholly incompetent.
I have experienced real curfew before.
When the government is serious, no one will risk coming out unless their lives depend on it
even then they will be alone in such endeavor not now that people are even coming out to socialize and
catch fun when the aim is to isolate.

Now that people are free to move around from 10 am to 2 pm according to FG, the curfew is practically over.

We know the numbers are more than that...

Now that government is about lifting lockdown to enable people go to markets between 10am and 2pm daily in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun...expect the numbers to soar...

#Staysafe

Check out the States where the numbers are high, those are the States where we have our international airports. So its foreigners and returning citizens that are increasing the numbers not the markets..

They can sanitize markets before and after closing

My take: it is futile expending valuable resources and energy trying to prevent it's spread. The only way this can go away is when a cure is found and/or a vaccine developed.
The sheer ease of transmission and infection makes mockery of all these "quarantine", "isolation", "social distancing" and other terminologies brandished by authorities as a way of demonstrating they are doing something.
How long will national economies and the general world economy sustain a lock down? 2weeks?, 1month? 3months?
Like malaria and HIV, corona is something we all have to come to terms with as another disease that has come to stay. All these initial gra gra of locking down will soon fizzle out.

There are some sense in what you are saying, at least as humans we have to try our very best no matter what the eventual outcome might be.

What the governments all over the world is trying to prevent is the worst case scenario and if you take a mortality rate of 2% and a world population of about 9 billion; it means out of the gate 180 millions people will die world wide.

Also, about 140 million people get added each year to the world, 2% of that is another 2.8 million deaths each year until the vaccine is found.

With Nigeria at 200 millions, that is 4 million deaths out of that gate.

The lockdown will create awareness

Like you pointed out, the world cannot hold on the lockdown for so long

WHO says that many vaccines are currently undergoing clinical trials, so it will likely be ready in 12 months.

On the other hand, the United Kingdom is projecting that things will return to normalcy in 6 months.

That is, people will get used to living safely with the virus until the vaccine is finally ready
Sometimes when it has to do with some naked Viruses, Prevention is always better than Cure.
Take a Look at passive viruses like HIV and EBOLA.

Osun needs a total lockdown. Now is the best time to do it before things get out of control.
the 9 new cases in Osun are all isolated so they never mingled with the society, they came from ivory coast and were quarantined upon arrival.

As a form clarification, the persons involved in the just confirmed 9 cases in Osun are not based in Osun. They just arrived from America. As a matter of fact, they had experienced a long delay in Ogun before Osun state government saw to their release. Subsequently, they were conveyed to the State and quarantined straight up without meeting any citizens.
