timesup234: Bolded. You were talking well until u got to where I highlighted...Nigeria is developed in terms of what? If you are talking about corona, Africa became less risky than the western worlds because of our weather and the fact that it is just getting here. It has entered deep into those affected counties like the USA, Italy, England and others in the vokd region before they knew that something has absorbed them. The awareness is what Africa is banking on. If, Nigeria and other African countries have taken the quick precautions taken by the likes of USA, we might have never had any cases. Western world isnt shit holes like you said. We are only favoured by our atmospheric layout, and demographic placements,, our strong resilience as humans, our food and natural inbuilt from birth which, Inter Alia become our strong points. Most of us grew up drinking herbal concoction etc all these Play a safe Haven for us in a simple disease that would kill an average Whiteman. I fault those comments except I misunderstood your definition of development. I would like to learn from you more about how we are developed. 3 Likes |

yusufu16: Today alone, over 500 people were reported to have died of COVID19 in UK alone. How does a country live with such news every day? If China can handle it, prevent and stop new infections in a country of over 1.5 billion people, why can't we do it. Our biggest problem in Nigeria is indiscipline and we are going to pay heavily for it, if the citizenry don't change their attitude sooner. Also. I think the decision to open market within some stipulated hours will do more harm than good. There will be rushing within those hours which will be counter productive. I think it is high time Jumia and other such companies are engaged to deliver ordered food items to people's door steps. Government should subside their transport fare so as to make it more affordable for people. Also Jumia should add phone numbers which people can call and make orders instead of online. Not all are computer literate. At market, only wholesalers of food and medical items should be allowed to open. Then, Jumia deliver the items to the people. 2 Likes |

Nigeria need to take their cue from Nigeria’s actual deaths from Covid otherwise aping the West and China by pursuing Covid infected leads, locking down cities, providing food parcels will bankrupt Nigeria. This method is like spending money trying to fade shadows by shining light on them. More Nigerians will die from a bankrupt Nigeria than ever would from Nigeria’s enemies best Covid wishes for Nigeria. Best find out why more Nigerians aren’t dying from Covid than standard; is it to do with youthful population? are Nigerians generally too healthy for Covid due to the fact that life in Nigeria is so manual and foods more organic? If these are the case, then spend more on educating Nigerians how to go about life weary of Covid; place more responsibility for staying safe on Nigerians – for instance, I saw one video in which Jamaican shop owners provided means for customers to wash their hands outside the shop; let communities sew masks, let communities police themselves... 1 Like 1 Share |

Bolowolowo:The entire State in Nigeria needs to be locked down for 2weeks. The reason is because, some of the infected individuals must have passed this virus to others. Most of them might not even be in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun. The Federal Government should please do a nation wide lock down. Strict measures should be taken to contain this Virus before we start dropping like flies. 1 Like |

rockcitie:To remain same, it is indeed to keep a positive mindset. Ebola has not been wiped off though. It resurfaced in Congo a few months ago. https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/04/africa/drc-discharges-last-ebola-patient/index.html It is hard to wipe a virus off the face of the earth except you kill all animals or we all turn vegetarians. Ebola was also listed as an epidemic not a pandemic. https://health.usnews.com/conditions/articles/whats-the-difference-between-an-epidemic-and-pandemic |
