Good afternoon great Engineers
Pls I have a camry 2.2 tiny light. The car runs fine but whenever I engage the gear and AC the engine stutters on idle and keeps jerking till I move. We ve serviced nozzle and injector mouth.. Still the problem persists, the mech has even increased my firing system above 1RPM yet to show. Am wondering if I can get the solution to my problem.

What happens without AC, did u buy the car that way or did the problem start after they fixed something?

I bought it Toks 2 yr ago and had been running fine.
I havent done any repairs on the engine side apart from oil change

Without the AC It jerks but minimized

Do the following:

. Check and change your air filter
. Clean you mass airflow sensor (MAF)
. Check and clean your fuel injectors
. Change/clean your fuel filter
. Pour a bottle of fuel injector cleaner into your fuel tank to clean your injectors.

These stuff will help a lot.

Also don't forget the good old sparkplugs. I bet you've not replaced it since you bought the car �

I have finally fixed the problem..
Ignation coil cables are the culprit

We changed the fuel pump and the problem continued.. We traced it to the those cables

I have already changed the plugs...
I installed iridium plugs

yes I did but does that have anything to do with the jeering and vigorous vibration when Ac is on?

Ok yours is probably different.
But i have an experience i would like to share, it might help someone in the future.
My friends Camry 2000 model cut timing belt, she had it changed by the roadside, then the car started misfiring when u accelerate. She called me to help out, so i took the car to my mechanic thinking maybe they didnt set the timing correctly. My mech checked the timing but still same problem, we changed plug wires, still same, we even tried fuel pump, same peoblem persisted. It was later that a parts dealer suggested we check the crankshaft pulley, it was then that we discovered that one of the teeth was broken, we changed it and car was back to normal.
I hope my little contribution helps someone.
