Since pictures emerged the FG has been giving out stipends to Nigerians to cushion the economic impact of the covid19 pandemic, some people, largely the opposition, have been alleging the intervention is selective. Particularly, they allege that only northerners are benefitting from it and only them will. It is unfortunate people are bent on playing politics with this situation that poses an existential threat to us all irrespective of our tribe, religion or creed. As patriotic citizens, it is our duty to investigate and bring the truth to the public especially as they relate to how government handles its business. One might want to overlook these lies sometimes, but some of us know just how volatile some of these lies can be, as they promote hate and intimately insecurity.
