For those blaming the Nigerian Army for not living up to expectation, let me draw a distinction here:

The Army is made up of Nigerian citizens drawn from North and South of the country- permit me to simply put it this way. The bulk of this officers are from the core North as you may already know. A good number of these Northern Soldiers are apologetic and sympathetic towards this BH boys. Many are even affiliated to BH in a way.
This scenario has polarised our defence network, thereby casting aspersions as to whether the Nigerian Army is truly prepared to fight and defeat BH. Again, there is no political will from the government to purge the NA of evil elements and betrayals. Religion is a big problem here!

However, the southern Army personnel in the force are very ready to give their all but they are incapacitated by the betrayal of their Northern counterparts in the force. Many of these folks have lost their lives in several attacks caused by the Northern moles supporting BH.

This is also the reason why the United States of America, USA does not want to partner with Nigeria in the fight against terrorism.

Atleast they did most of the work. This ones just swooped in to simply take the glory. We've lost so many promising young men, fathers, husbands, sons and brothers to bokoharam... Kindly accord them a bit of respect. I know they can overdo but then, they will protect when war comes.

A very bold and commendable step the chadian army and their president took.
Nigerian defence budget is even higher than the annual budget of Chad yet we can't defeat Boko haram.

Don't blame our boys but blame shameless FG, politicians n Chiefs who don't want the BH to end.
The boys are ready to fight, hurt by the death of their colleuges but our govt n others don't want the war to end by not doing the necessary things n providing equipment n weapons for our soldiers.

I guess Nigeria military fighting boko haram has been compromised and it is from the top echelon not the foot soldiers who are ready to fight to finish. According to Major General Adeyemi.who was redeployed after the video he recorded and was mistakenly leaked out, sometimes, wrong signals are given which always result in the killing of Nigeria Soldiers by boko haram to keep the war going. If not, the Nigeria military has the capacity to flush those idiots out of their hide out within days.
