This week is gonna be a bumpy one as so many infected individuals would be identified.

So, what are you saying exactly?
They shouldn't keep figures?
Or because "most Nigerians are positive to the virus" as you claim, there should be no point keeping records?

All of the above

Please NCDC should keep this update to themselves.

They keep increasing the figure gradually on daily basis as if it is a written script.

The fact is that Coronavirus has little or no effect on the black man, just like Malaria and bird flu. Also most black people are asymptomatic to Coronavirus, (meaning they contract the virus without showing any symptoms) and recover without medication after a given time.

Most Nigerians are positive to this virus or have cleared it even without knowing. This is the reason we've not recorded enough cases and death like italy, UK, USA and other developed countries who have better health facilities than us.

That is not to say we should be lackadaisical in the war against Coronavirus, but we should suppress fear and be courageously optimistic

What's the essence of the lockdown since the numbers keeps increasing on a daily....ion get it

It is simply by testing people around the people that have already tested positive.

I have my test tomorrow. God forbid I test positive, but if I do, at least 20 people I have had contact with will be tested. This is how the number increases on daily basis.

There are people that are yet to be tested.

At least 1000 people arrive Nigeria on daily basis from abroad. The peak of the virus was the first three weeks of March. The airports were closed last week of March or so. Everyone of the 1k people who arrived Nigeria between March 1 to March 20 (assumed airport closure date) is a potential carrier of covid-19. That’s minimum of 20k people. Each of the 20k person may have had contacts with people.

A lot of testing needs to be done. This is how it works.

But when all this is all over, watch as. The federal government will start claiming all the victory. I've said it times without number that this virus has minimal effect on the African race... By now, alot of people should have died in Nigeria already but the numbers are extremely low.

Half of the figure mentioned here is malaria. It seems Nigerian health workers are mixing up things here. Since the outbreak of coronavirus the rate of malaria attack has reduced which makes me to think that these guys are confused in differentiating this virus and our popular sickness called malaria.

The lock down makes it easy for people with symptoms to contact NCDC.. When everyone is indoors, people who develop symptoms will have no option than to come out for testing...
