Is like you didn't get the information correct. Chad didn't do anything to Nigeria. They just retaliate what BH did to his soldiers by killing almost 90 soldiers that is it and not because they want to help Nigeria. I can see u are to emotional to make your point simple. Majority of BH members are Chadian. I repeat Majority of BH members are Chadian. Asked anybody from Borno or Yobe since you could be from Southern Nigeria therefore it will be difficult for u to understand Northern apart from what you see online. Believe me Chadians are major problem of Borno and Yobe which by extension to Nigeria as whole.

Why would majority of boko haram members not be Chadians when you guys in the north openly welcome every fulani and hausa people from the neighbouring countries and beyond into your midst without any consideration for security ,social and economic implications for the country ?

I put it to you that Chadians are not the problems but you, Northerners are the problem of this country. There are millions of Hausa/fulani people in this country today who migrated illegally into the country and have fraudulently taken up citizenship of Nigeria. Of course, you need their population for political advantage.

Why are the Yorubas not opening their doors for their kinsmen from Benin republic,Togo,Ghana,Cuba,Sierra Leone etc in the name of cultural affiliation ? Or do you guys think there are no Igbo in Equatorial Guinea ,Gabon etc? Why is it that it's only in the north that every fulani man from Niger,Chad,Cameroon,Guinea etc becomes a Nigerian immediately they cross into our territory ?

You guys allowed influx of useless people into the country because of religious and cultural sentiments and for political gains and here you are again blaming the Chadians for the BH crisis ! The north needs to be sanitized for Nigeria to witness peace and prosperity.

You can imagine. Yet these spineless bastards called Nigerian soldiers are only good at 'jobbing' harmless and unarmed civilians in peaceful areas. They would be quick to remind you of how 'ungrateful' you bloody civilians are that you're sleeping while they are fighting to 'protect' you. Protect fire.

Bunch of miserable idiots.

See serious armed forces doing the job they are expected to do. Ordinary poor Chad. Yet Nigerian soldiers would always claim that they are not adequately armed and equipped, that's why they can't fight Boko Haram. Yen yen yen. Even the bloody coward Lafia Dole 'general' who was shaking like a chicken on camera while complaining about not being adequately armed. But they are always adequately armed to brutalise civilians, or to deal with soft work easy targets like IPOB, or protesting Shite, or Warri boys. Shameless fools.

Cowards. Every single soldier in Nigeria, past and present, is a foolish coward. God punish all of them until they receive sense on what their priorities are.

By the way, look at what the despicable creature who some Nigerians voted for as president, said in 2013. God forbid. I spit on all of you...

Boko-hari!! and Burantashi!!, to think that i was hoping it'd be a two-pronged attack, Chadian troops pounding them from up there and Nigerian soldiers flushing them from this end, but no Nigerian Millitary will rather sheepishly sit back receive a hiding, get their asses captured as POW and await rescuing by a Millitary force they are in normal circumstances 'pose to be Superior to. Rubbish.

Your useless post just shot u on your useless foot. So your small brain can not tell you that if was brave to win the war against Maitastine. He is now compromising with Boko Haram. You guys still have guts here to defend this man. Mm at your generation not know peace. If am talking on the blood of our brothers that have been killed through the support of this government with BH, then if you are sponsored to post this, you will use that money to cure sickness. I rest my case.
BreconHills:

You seem to have a fixation with Buhari. A lot of young people who life has not provided with opportunity to express bravery or courage will try to shoot down an ageing warrior in order to claim his spurs.

This is practice is as old as the hills.

This is a man who with the mechanised brigade engaged engaged in hot pursuit of the Maitastine sect across Nigerian border into Chad. Only a direct order from the then President Shagari stopped him entering Ndajema. This is a war commander, a two time head of state who is at the later stages of life. Older and slower.

And your ambitions for self glory like those of your generation rest on attempting to pulling him down and taking his rank as your own?

Good luck with that. I would have told you to " get a life" but I know you cant do that.

Neither will you ever be half the man he was.

No need for being sentiment here. No where in the world you have insurgency for a month, it means the govt is involved. I would have explained that same that happened during GEJ is happening when u have sell out in his govt. This is different. You have a President approve rehabilitation of killers of your own Soldier. If your stupidity knows no bounds at least he should tell you, it either the President is involved, he does not love this country or he is not the one handling. Please stop patronising this kind of sheet by telling people they are emotional. It makes you look stupid
Dpharisee:

Valid points, despite my sentiments against Buhari sometimes I know that BH is international. Shekau made a big blunder killing those Chadian, perhaps he mistook them for a Nigeria garrison since it happened in Nigeria territory.

I will ignore your emotional diatribe and focus on the facts. Maitastine was no different to.BH. The only difference was that it was swiftly cut down and not allowed to fester and accumulate international partners.

Regarding PMB's compromise with BH phrase give me proof not innuendo or supposition. Tell me in what way that support has come and stop elevating suspicion to fact.

Somehow a man that crushed Maitastine has become an ardent supporter of BH. Please give me the factual trajectory for the change in character. But please do do with facts. I quite understand that NL is a place where people come to ventilate- more so at this time. But let's elevate our discussion for posterities sake and deal with the facts.

Looking forward to your fact filled response.

If any such Nigerian soldiers were freed by Chadian soldiers in the first place, did it ever occur to any of you that perhaps Chad knew where those Nigerian solders were being held and Nigeria did not since Chad is playing a double game? That perhaps what began this Chadian unsought against Bokoharm, which was that some elements of Bokoharm got carried away and bit-off some of the fingers that feed them - 90 of the monster's fingers to be precise - and the head of the monster, Idris Derby, had to teach them a lesson for being so insolent. And, of course, since Idris Derby and his Chadian forces know intimately these Bokohaam elements, whom they feed, it was easy for the Chadian forces to locate and crush them. Not all of them mind, just enough to restore the status-quo, namely Chad’s reputation and the deceit of Nigeria/coalition, and remind Boko not to get out of line and the consequences for so doing.
Go and open your own thread.

What are you saying man ? If Buhari is old and as such cannot bring to bear his experience (if there is any ) as a General to defeat the book haram, what happens to his incompetent service chiefs ? Are they old as well ? Trust me,boko haram should thank their gods that Obasanjo was not the President of this country at this particular period, they would have been history take it or leave it.

Buhari is a weak man without any enviable record of bravery. War commander ? Which war please ? If running after some ragtag religious lunatics called Maitasine is your definition of bravery, then you're not different from the so called "young people" you just criticized and chastised.

Whatever happens to the saying " once a soldier, always a soldier" ? It is because Buhari has never been a soldier in the real sense of it. He is just one of the numerous weaklings who benefited from the corrupt Nigerian system that favours a particular section of the country. Please give us another excuse that he is old is just too lame.

I am sorry to say this, your hero is a weak and incompetent man.

OBJ? Was it not on OBJ's watch that BH metasized while he was reducing Odi to ruins? Was it not under OBJ that the founder of BH was killed in captivity before he had time to reveal his sponsors?

Look there are many books on the civil war, please read the records of both men before lining up behind OBJ.

The truth is BH was allowed to grow from a fringe movement to an economically viable jihadist caliphate with strong support from ISL. There are four countries plus France chasing these guys around. The US and UK are supplying Intel and yet you are blaming one man.

The reason I dont follow crowds to think is because my job requires rationality and inquiry. I cant be two people. So if anyone is addressing me on this issue let them go so with facts and not supposition. I cant address prejudice. That's for psycho analysts to handle.

If you are ready to provide facts behind your viewpoint, I have got time.

Not everything is about politics, we against them, PDP against APC etc. In some issue we have to be impartial.

TheNas is correct. You, @kp3tech is talking out of sentiments. How true is this story even? Chad entered Nigerian boundaries and killed BH members How do you know it was only BH they killed? Where are the rescued Nigerians? How did they gather intelligence without help and synergy from Nigerian army? We Just talk and talk and use different theories and we are our own worst enemy. Nigerian Military is not together anymore, we don't have one Nigerian army, we have divisions, our military is not well trained. There is a lot of corruption in the Military.
