U are very very insensitive!
Gosh.
Where do people like this resurrect from?
Don't be so dramatic

I think you guys are misreading my comments... Obviously every job is important and I recognise some people do these jobs here. I was speaking in relative terms ie... Shortage occupation. If you read my comment properly and what I was replying to. Of course all jobs are important. My point is as to why you are unlikely to find a HCA on a tier 2 visa, because it is not a shortage occupation. And this is because of the minimal requirements needed to work as a HCA vs say being a Doctor or I. T. Also, the educational requirements needed. And experience needed. Read that as you may, no undergraduate can get a job as a medical doctor without going to school. Do you get my interpretation now?

Ok.

But there are more subtle ways to make his points known than those first two statements.
It can rile anybody up.
Thank u
There is someone who will read that comment and see as an opportunity. I have many colleagues who's halves, both male and female have taken up low skill jobs like HCA or Care jobs to hold body. Let's not make a mole hill out of nothing... I never said anyone was nobody and you don't know me, my job. I'm not an elite, and I have family from localities in Nigeria who are hustling. I am not in the business of belittling anybody. Frankly I find those comments about me being insensitive hurtful. Making out time to comment and somebody saying I'm rude, or whatever. I don't have to comment. So take that into consideration too. I didn't belittle anybody and like I said a HCA in my job before is one of my bosses now... So, interpret that in a positive light

I think the adjective 'special' abi... Let's leave it at that. Its not really a discussion that will credit anybodys account

Every job is important, but not every job is special

Hi
Is it okay to ask for your email so I could send my questions ?
I just want to ask how the process went
Did your uni sponsor your application?
The money needed to be in the account, I read it’s £945 for a period of 90 consecutive days
Also are you allowed to work?
I just need a bit of guidance
Thank you

I was sponsored by my university.
945 yes as stated in the guidance.
You are allowed to work. But technically you should be working on your business.

I think the UK is getting the covid-19 treatment wrong. They are waiting too late to start the care...in Naija for example they start you on the treatment even with mild symptoms and in 7 days most of them get better..

I don't see the need of the gamble of waiting 14days without any proper medication

COVID19 got no medication, only management... You can medicate the underlying follow come infections, but it's all subject to your anatomy, to fight majority of it.......

The 14 day isolation, is to observe. If one has not shaken off the underlying symptoms between 7/10 days.....

Hospital admission is usually required afterwards .........

Yeah but if someone is already positive why not just give the anti-malaria, antibiotic and the antiviral that are currently known to help manage the situation...why wait until they get to ICU before management especially when these medications dont really have bad side effects

Studies have not been given final conclusion that such list of medication works.

And BTW, which doctor in Nigeria has come out to confirm that the medications you listed were what they gave their supposed COVID-19 patients in Nigeria huh

I wish him quick recovery so that he can come back to tender his apology for the delayed response his government had at the onset of the pandemic. I believe nhs is making the same mistake with her staff with ppe rationing or non-existence and delayed testing for front line staff.

Are you minding?

Most of those supposed COVID-19 patient in Nigeria must have had the asymptomatic positive virus that just needed them to stay home and quarantined themselves for 14 days.

I really doubt it that Nigeria has had that many severe symptomatic COVID-19 patients to care for.

Remember, the NHS is having testing logistics palaver.......

How many can they test?

If everyone with a dry cough, high temperature, loss of taste etc etc.... Legs it to A&E..... The NHS would collapse....

If Nigeria goes on intensive testing spree, what do you think would happen?

Did you listen to the Minister of health interview, a few weeks ago?

He was asked what medication they used for the discharged patients? He said NO medication.....

Rest + human anatomy + management, is all we know that works.......

Nigeria cannot handle the bolded at all at all.

People will be dying in minutes back-to-back.

And yes, you are very right about the second bolded statement about how the virus if severe can be treated and overcomed.

Nigeria isn’t taking it likely with anyone who flouts the rule as well. Funke Akindele, her husband and some others were arrested yesterday for having a birthday party amidst the lockdown.

Lexusgs430:
How can she be the person warning people to stay home..... Whilst she does the exact opposite?

Her position unfortunately became untenable......

This is Europe, not Nigeria....... cheesy

Doctors in naija will not come out in public to say it because Nigerians will start self medicating

The list of drugs for management is available to those who need to know it

Forget the Lamba from politicians

I have a comprehensive list of the official drugs used in Nigeria...even ITUs in the UK are all trying different drug combinations now

The deaths Nigeria has had are from pple who didnt get on these so called test drugs on time...same mistake Europe and the US is making...

The point is, the earlier pple get on, the better chances they have...somehow the drugs help to reduce the propagation of the virus and its symptoms

I'm not a medic but as a process Engineer, most times the best solutions are usually the simplest solutions

P.s I'm not saying the drugs are the cure but there is no harm trying, instead of just watching people die and say there is no conclusive research on these drugs

You think if MHRA does not approve covid19 medications, it would be used in the UK?

Think of how lawyers would feed fat, after this pandemic is over, if life changing side effects are experienced from this unlicensed trials.........

The combination of drugs ITU is using, are standard drugs to fight ongoing infections. As you might be aware, you get underlying combination of infections, before the big bang......

The reason we have so many deaths, NHS is simply struggling...... (my perception).....

Imagine having a production line under no pressure, it performs optimally....

When the same production line is put under pressure, without massively upgrading system processes..... You start to see unexposed weaknesses.....
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by EngrSaks(m): 12:23pm On Apr 07, 2020
I agree they are afraid of the legal after effects...just sad they cant do anything about the deaths...the numbers are so many all around the world
