Guys, I know there was an argument here on how calls should names should be transcribed when spelled out thus, H as in Henry etc. Please, can I confirm the best way it should be? Should it be the way it was said or the normal way for spelled out words?
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by ayipo247(m): 2:42pm On Apr 07, 2020
I have always been transcribing as H as in Harry, A as in Actor, R as in Red.... and the likes and I have never got marked down for that.

I think the recent platform upgrade was designed solely to frustrate mobile users... It makes work rigorously slow, words keep disappearing and appearing elsewhere on the transcript, even during editing the page starts lagging and typing is 10 times slower.
Is there anyone using a mobile phone that is also experiencing this?? Or it's just on my end.

being slow on phone is when working on a long minute call, otherwise, no problem at all.

Things I've found out on the new platform for mobile users like myself.
1: Like someone mentioned earlier, typing things somewhere and finding it somewhere else.

2: Veeerrey slow response time. Like what you normally do for one hour will double. I did a normal 6 mins PF call for one and a half hour. Imagine.

3: Never ever leave that page cuz they won't be accountable for what happens to your work. I finished an 11mins square call this morning and I wanted to double check it, so I went and switched keyboard only for me to find the whole thing gone. Something that I spent double the time I was supposed to.

Conclusion: Madam is just starting with us. grin grin grin
Something else. Make sure you don't mislabel speakers, cause if you do then prepare to spend a few extra minutes doing that. Especially if it's near the beginning.

Working with the snippets buttons is the worst, imagine then changing from being buttons to being words in your transcript.
And as an advice, do not ever ever try reloading your work.

I never experienced any of these.

I reloaded an 11 minutes square call 3 times today and nothing happened to my work.

I mistakenly added a speaker label that I didn't want to added, all I did was to touch the label and it went back to join with the other one that was same with it.

I don't know how you guys are having problems with it. Maybe, it is because I remove all snippet before I start working.

Two questions.
1. Did it get slower as you continued editing?
2. What's the processor and RAM size of your phone?

I asked because I'm starting to think phone processor speed will have a role to play, especially for those complaining that it gets slower with longer text.

I'm just speculating sha.

It get all muffled up when you try to change label. Texting is very slow and the dashboard is now outrageously irksome. Is this due to the upgrade? I'm using mobile, a tab.

I prefer FC calls to Fly. some are actually clear. PF and QA do come around 2am but they're taken very quickly.

There's really nothing much to it. Just marry the FAQ and study the sample transcripts and watch the punctuation, that's your ticket to 5s. I've created 4 accounts and I finally am able to get a hang of it.
