Pussy Nigger of a Governor, Helicopter chatter service should be part of essential services mandated to work ... Carverton mostly service the oil and gas industry, offshore and onshore , Air Travel aint even on concurrent list In simple terms, hurt Oil and Gas sector through logistics then you hurt the economy for a long time It was a flight from Warri that the Governor is after, not from offshore. |

seanfer:Lol ... you're laughable, I swear. Go and open na ... Wike shut their PH office (not airspace) for violating the state govt's order. He has also given them conditions they must meet before it will be reopened. You and your dumb asss Buhari can go to hell The office remains CLOSED until Wike's conditions are met. $ |

PatrioticNaija:How did you know the helicopter was for Oil and Gas ? Anyway, the governor has asked them to produce the people they brought into PH (perhaps for 14 days quarantine for Covid 19). Wike doesn't want to take chances. $ |

I am very sure the pax Caverton Helicopters flew into PH are Oil & Gas workers; essential service workers just like electricity workers. And i want to believe the governor was ill advised in carrying out the arrest. |

iammo:Apparently the ban also affects airspace,i.e movement from one state boundary to another. Caverton flying to offshore locations is not the issue, flying passengers from another state to locations in Rivers is where they ran foul of the law. Bristow helicopters has far so been operating within the confines of the law which is very clear.Fly from Naf base to any offshore or onshore locations within the state but dont cross state boundaries. |

Rayd502:Airspace is under the control of the FG, they broke no known Rivers state laws.. Wike is just showing off, and it would hurt us badly at this time.. if escravos sneezes the whole Nigeria would catch cold.. all this show off by Wike wont last a month if anything affects our FAAC allocation next month |

Ashawoboi27:Why do we always like to downplay serious matters? An order was given, a certain company defaults...the chief officer of the state bans them from operations and you are saying he wants money. If the Federal govt had taken this type of actions, we wouldn't be dancing this reggae music of COVID-19 by now. We should commend Woke for his proactive style. His request is very simple...they should provide all the person's they flew into the state. Woke is privy to all info and it is not impossible that those passengers may have come from Abj or Lagos. That is dangerous. Let them not endanger the rest of the citizenry because of respect for certain individuals. Woke, I hail you. |

I'm surprised this governor doesnt know that the fixed wing terminal at airforce base where both Bristow and Caverton operate is only used by oil and gas workers. The federal government need not talk to him. The only thing they need to do is to withdraw federal allocation from rivers state for the entire duration he stops helicopter and fixed wing airplane operations and also tell the IOC's in rivers state not to pay company income tax since they made losses during that duration. Nobody will tell him before his brain resets. I wonder who his advisers are.Smh! |
| Re: Wike Shuts Down Caverton Helicopters For Violation Of Movement Restrictions by Rayd502(m): 9:04pm On Apr 07, 2020 |
iammo:Wike is only enforcing the federal government laws,no inter state movement in the airspace, even Caverton knows this. Bristow that has more clients is adhering to the laws. All terminals have adopted stringent rules to prevent the spread of the virus knowing the peculiar nature of their work environment. The key word here is 'safety'. Does Carverton or Bristow fly passengers from Naf base located in Ph to Escravos in Delta? |
