There is not One shutdown .There is more than one The shutdown in Lagos, FCT and Ogun is a Federal shutdown.
The Rivers state shutdown is not. This is easily verifiable. The shutdowns in other states are not FG shutdowns.
The FG shutdown comes when a state government HAS NOT already put one in place.

The Oil and gas industry was exempted from the shutdown.

The aviation Operators of Nigeria has issued an ultimatum that the pilots be released in 24hours or they will suspend operations in rivers state for 3months.

Who do u think will lose?

Except you want to be mischevious or ignorant, you will know it is not about land. When the President made his broadcast on lockdown, he mentioned that Oil and Gas, Banks, and some avaition on special duties are on exclusive list. Wike is hurting the country with this. We cannot affort to shutdown Oil operations during this period and that is why the Pilot had to airlift oil workers to their fields to be able to continue production and keep Nigeria running.

This unnecessary action from Wike does not make sense. What then do we make of him lifting lockdown for Friday and Easter?
