Poverty is a product of thought as well as riches. |

We can all agree on an objective definition of poverty. However, some people are incredibly delusional (or uneducated) and will use the most random crap as criteria for labeling someone rich or poor. |

No, madam. Somebody has the right to categorize some people as wealthy. Somebody has the right to say the wealthy should pay more tax. In the same vein, someone has the right to categorize some people as poor and needy. The postulation that no one has the right to say some people are poor is like saying don't say something that is black is black. We should try to use some reasonings. Everything is not just about playing to the gallery or twisting facts. |

Nigeria has no business with poverty. We are technically the richest black nation on earth. God will surely deliver her from the curse one day just one day, things will never be the same anymore. |

Nigeria's 2019 GDP = $446.543 billion At a current price of $65 per barrel, Nigerian crude oil exports records 2.2 million barrels per day. Africa is the most resource rich region in the entire world. It literally needs no one. Everyone else does, and depends heavily on Africa. I say this all to give perspective on any actual or perceived poverty. |

Chimezirim121: When they release this woman, from room arrest - she would just run to the Internet and post rubbish- well she is not the only one ignorance can sometimes be bliss- we have a lot of educated illiterates governors, rep members et al, what does nigeria export that is an alternative to oil? And brings in foreign exchange? - yet what do we import? Cars clothes, food iron building materials- But then she would wake up and compare nigeria with advanced democracies - The US exports oil - sales technology/planes/trains/lifts, sales arms, sells education, sells pharmaceutical products, sell health services, sell hospitality, sell entertainment and a so on, this so called educated person would be spewing shìt everywhere - all these people that used quota system to get admission into school- what's the difference between her and a whole prof of medicine that decided to warehouse a covid patient in ilorin? Educated illiterates everywhere |

ZombiePUNISHER: That wan na lie. Go ask the pipu wey redefine poverty as living on 1 dollar per day from the 2 dollar it previously was. Thats how they lifted hundreds of millions out of poverty in India. My slight of the pen. It will always be mightier than the sword. No doubt poverty is rife. But the price of rice for Uk no be same price for lagos and no be same price for Zamfara |
