Send the email state ur case if ur visa has not expired or u have a residence permit the bill is on u

Not having one of d above shouldn't stop u from sending those details

It is standard practice every where, so also is ur government responsibility to bring u back home wen u overstay ur visa and willing to return

There are procedures to follow but it starts by sending the E-mail like they said they will work closely with the relevant UAE authorities to make it happen

Stop saying what you don't know. That's the official email address of Nigerian Embassy in UAE. Always try to investigate before posting based on your un-informed perception. Blame the embassy.

pls I've a question. What are the requirements for importing a used car from the uae?

pls I've a question. What are the requirements for importing a used car from the uae?
Hello,
There is no much requirement,
it will all depend on how many unit of cars you want to import and the year...

If you will be importing only 1 car, you will only need to merge in a container already having other people's goods and you will be charged for the shipping and clearing by the logistics company
I.e if the car is a 2008 Camry spider, you will be charged around 800k to 900k both shipping and clearing altogether...
Note that you will only pay this money when your container land Ladipo.

If you will be buying more than one then I will advise you to get a container from Maersk or CMA shipping line and when you are done loading your cars, the rest spaces remaining will be sold to people that has goods to ship and they will pay you...

Maersk shipping line will give you a 20ft container at the rate of 3500 to 4000 dollars and 40ft at 5500 to 6500 dollars and this is called SHIPPING of the container.

When the container gets to Apapa wharf or any other wharf then you will employ a clearing agent to help with the clearing aspect...

To clear a 20ft container with 1 car of year 2008 and other items will be around 2M to 2.3M and 40ft depending on the units of cars in it...

You can ask questions when confused and you can still partner with someone that ships non bulky goods because in a container with car(s)
there must be spaces that will contain other goods that is not bulky...

Regards cry

Well said bro. Are you in this line of biz? I've had terrible experience with that shit and I honestly don't encourage people to buy cars for EXPORT to Nigeria from here anymore.

Although, Cars from UAE, especially the clean titles are mostly more reliable but will most likely be more costly than similar cars coming from the US/Canada.
I think the best option would be to join hands to get a container, if one must buy from here.
Trust me, the information is not that clear cut out there. I did my best in getting a reliable cargo company but i didn't see any. I had to use one of the fellows in deira whose warehouse is in rashidiyah.
I didn't have any issue with my first car but I was really preyed on. For the second car, I received it after almost 4 months(late October last year to mid February this year), with additional money paid for demaurage that was totally not my fault, they'll definitely tell you that you dont need to pay upfront but they will have a way to get it along the line.
Till date(6 months after), I am yet to receive the washing machine that was supposed to be delivered with my car. I was told that they had already load the car before the washing machine was delivered, so it's in another container. So it's been story upon story.

Actually I’ve a a smooth and not so bad experience shipping a car from Dubai, for economic sake you don’t need a container as you can ship using roro which is the cheapest and I think cars in uae are cheaper than US infact I’m sure of this but shipping cost is a bit expensive. Imagine Toyota Camry 2010 8,000 dhs Toyota Camry 2015 for 12,000 dirhams, Toyota Corolla 2015 15,000 another Toyota Camry 2015 10,000 dirhams although it has been used as taxi. These are cared that retail nothing less than 4m in Nigeria, You can get discounts depending on time and loading port either Sharjah or Dubai (Sharjah) is the cheap option, also I can recommend AEON shipping company cos I used them. I’ll attach screenshot of quotation so y’all can have an idea. Note: quotation is slightly negotiable

That cargo company you gave your car to must chop from it that's why it may be bit expensive for you, note that in car sells, every 100k is counted because your profit after selling a car may not be up to 200k to 300k, sometimes between 100+ and if you employ the service of a middle man( Cargo company) they will still have a share in it.

Why cars are more cheaper from USA most times is that it's rare to see 2 people sharing one container from US but in UAE more than 20 people's goods will be in one container and cars too whereby creating avenue for the cargo company handling that container to rip people off...

Get your personal container from Dubai, load your car(s) and sell the rest spaces to auto parts, electronics, electrical, furniture, house hold items and other dealers...

We can talk on WhatsApp with the Nigerian number on my signature...

I ship used auto parts, cars, Electrical materials and others so we can collaborate if you ship cars...

But after Covik 1-9 birus
Re: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by NIGHTLIFE100: 9:47am On Apr 11, 2020
Truth is if you’re shipping only 1 car you don’t have to use container because it’s expensive just use roro that’s it but note you cannot add any goods inside a car that’s being shipped with roro cis they’ll definitely steal things inside. But roro is the cheapest option for shipping a single car, you can get a container if you’re shipping 2 or more cars

Thank you for this information but most of those cars in that price range that you quoted would have a very high mileage bro. You'll probably be lucky to get anyone below 500k mileage.
I didn't have access to this information when I was searching. The cars that I sent home are for personal use with no profit in mind. This made the total cost more than the selling price in Nigeria.
I really wanted to send them via roro but was made to understand that no company send roro to Nigeria so I was left with container. Of cos I got the service of the cargo guys in deira.
I didn't have much issue the first time. Car was delivered after 7th week (Abayomi cargo).
The car I mentioned in my initial post is a 2010 Highlander. I Used another cargo guy because abayomi cargo had already fold up that time.
I was charged 1.8m naira for the cargo and clearing charges.
Extortion started right from loading. Was asked to pay for one stupid chain and cover so that my car wont be damaged on transit(500 dirrham). Was charged 250k extra cos of the demaurage incurred but I later paid 100k after much confrontation. Imagine a container that arrived tincan since 17th December was released on February 15. Washing machine is still missing.
I will save this information for future purpose. People are being ripped off out there bro.

Whao! Whao! Whao!! Absolute rip off, Toyota Highlander 2010 retails around 3.5-4m in naija so shipping and clearing of 1.8m is quite high, Should’ve been 1.5m at best..... thing is the cars here are actual mileage unlike the ones from Nigerian car dealers that has been altered and rolled back, you can actually roll back 500k mileage to 68k mileage for 300 dirhams in mussafah my 2010 Camry is 268k mileage, 2015 Camry 116k and the Toyota Camry 2015 taxi is usually 500k mileage plus. Next time try and buy from maharba auction in Sharjah or distress sales that’s my best bet. I buy from people that are relocating or having loan problems.....

Highlander is a rare suv in uae because it’s not produced for the GCC so, it’s more costly here (my observation). Mine is the 2.7L engine. I decided to go for it here because I didn’t see the 4plug anywhere in Nigeria lesser than 5m, despite the fact that they are not as neat as what I saw here.
Bought it for 35k dirrham at a car stand in Awir Dubai, with 75k on the odometer when purchased. I only paid 500aed for the export clearance.
It’s good that this discussion came up. I blv that it’ll be of benefit to me and others.
Please what’s the procedure if one wants to cargo a previously registered car from UAE to Nigeria?

The first step to exporting a previously registered car is cancelling the vehicle registration. You will have to head down to Road & Transport Authority (RTA) and hand in all the required documents, cancel the registration and get the Export Certificate and you’ll be given Export plate, the documents needed to do this include: Vehicle registration card (original), you will need the purchase invoice and proof of ownership. See Attached pictures, you see how clean the car is 8k

Hello My Lovely friends!

My Employment Visa was about to be issued when they suspended Visa issuance on March 17.

Please my questions is: No matter how long this Pandemic might take would it affect my Employment offer or will my Employment be cancelledhuh

As this pandemic is going we don't know when it will come to end we are just been hopeful and optimistic it will end soonest. But for someone like me that already has an Employment offer but awaiting Employment Visa, what's my hope? Do you think the duration of this Pandemic lockdown should affect my current employment offer with my company in UAE.

Please I need you guys opinions on this.

Thanks very much as I await your responses.
