Those that lived in Enugu during Sullivan Chime's regime between 2007 to 2015 can attest that Sullivan is one of the best thing that happened to Enugu state. I am not from Enugu state, but i was i Enugu state then.
Anyone living in Enugu city during his regime can also attest to this. His impact was felt. So sad that the current administration isn't following his footsteps.

Keep shut! .. Sullivan is a rare spec of a Nigerian leader.. Young, intelligent, smart, educated and exposed...He built top top quality roads, bridges and culverts ( Arab contractors, borrini prono etc ) .. If any govt property gets damaged like a vehicle hitting a street pole it doesn't last 48hours before it gets fixed ( i usually get shocked how they knew so quickly) .. He allowed local govts to control their affairs and collaborated with them where need be.. Invested so much in transportation.. Enugu coal city shuttle (Enugu version of brt) were fully air conditioned and had digital insignia showing their various routes for just N30 then.. Todays govt doesn't provide such services no more.. I can go on but the comments here already speaks volume about the ex governor...If such a man ever rules lagos you'd realize fashola is just a learner..if i see this man on any platform I'm so joining whatever party he is and casting my vote. Happy birthday to you sir..

Legacy of cult killings right?? The popular agbani road in Enugu south that connects many parts of awkunanaw with uwani and even stretches to coal camp used to be a single carriage major road it was built by chimaroke.. Go figure the lasting quality of the dual carriage road till today.. The bag of semo currently in office only managed to patch some potholes on the road 6days before the last election

At least Chimaroke was smart enough to pick a fellow smart(although not to his level) leader like him to succeed him. But Sullivan couldn’t, rather this cry cry elephant in the whole of Enugu North senatorial zone. I’m not saying that Sullivan didn’t work, but Chimaroke worked more especially with the amount of funds available to them. The legacy projects of Chimaroke are all there for everyone to see.

ebano tunnel, ist three lane road in south east at new haven junction to otigba, park lane, dualization of rangers avenue, Esut permanent site at agbani , law school agbani , Sullivan legacies are countless while ugwuanyi is near zero legacy yet.

Happy birthday to this great guy. The best governor my dear motherland 042 has ever had. During his regime, things were normal, nightlife was lite, our dear ROADBLOCK was a hit back to back, streets were clean and street lights were functional.

Salaries were paid and everything was normal. Herdsmen clashes and brutality were alien to my people and life was at its youth.

Not until my fellow Nsukka man Ugwuanyi entered the office and destroyed everything. (Mind you, I am from Nsukka, Enugu Ezike to be precise). This bunkum of a governor Ugwuanyi entered and scattered everything. All the developments Chime did were reverted and now, Enugu is in a mess. Ugwuanyi only tried to cover up his incompetence by building roads ONLY.

Happy birthday Sullivan. He had the leadership skills that are rare in Nigeria. Abhorred sycophancy which was why he never commissioned anything, separated politics from governance, a thing Nigerian politicians find hard to do. He deserved 16yrs on that seat if possible, by now Enugu would have been like a town not in Nigeria.

I swear. He deserved to be there as long as possible.
