Sooperrescue, don't soil your integrity with the kids, they are bored with the lockdown and their resources is on ground floor. For your information, I don't work with cars 45 and I have only been to their yard just once. I love innovations and ideas make the world go round. Before them, there was no platform available for Nigerians to sell their cars and collect your money instantly. Their policy is clear, no test drive, bring your mechanic, and no refund after purchase. Like ikenna stated, there are mechanics that will accompany you to the place even for little money. When you want to buy an engine, you will take your mechanic there and I have never seen where the mechanic will start the engine to be sure it is working fine. He knows what to look out for and if he's satisfied, he tells you to pay. Their ideas are out of the box and all those cars in the yard were not stolen. Before they came, people used to give their cars as collateral to loan sharks and you end up forfeiting the car because you end up not being able to pay the interest. So you will see some people loosing their cars for borrowing just 300k to quickly resolve an issue. Ikenna, well done, cars 45, welcome to Nigeria and you will excel in the midst of naysayers who are envious of your strides in the Auto industry. My only issue is why the Mark up by Cars45 is so high.If the markup was fair, people will understand that buying a good vehicle from them is based on pure luck.Not putting a price tag of an Ok vehicle.

They have even tried by pasting an inspection report on the car.

The car was from Germany and they falsified the original car documents to Switzerland. They adjusted the mileage from 282000 to 82000 kilometers. We paid 7m for it but the car was very clean and OK. The mileage was discovered when we used the oem scanner. That said, we have unscrupulous people in every sector. If they allow test drive, then they will employ extra staff with security to accompany the car for the ride. There was in the news of a guy who took a Porsche for a test drive and drove away with the car. That would now be a common story with the junk cars. Even the previous owners can organize to steal it in the guise of test driving it. They also have a policy of bringing your own mechanic to inspect the car on your behalf. Let's move on and encourage others to come up with a better solution of taking care of our junk naija used cars off our roads.

Well, I hope they come up with a plan or do something to salvage their reputation. It's not looking very good out there.

Immediately they landed, those sellers disappeared. This thread is being sustained by those who lost their investment in erecting sign board in almost all car dealers shops. My take away thought. The logical questions these Nigerians don't ask themselves are:

- Why do Nigerians prefer Foreign used/Tokunbo vehicles to Nigerian used ones, even when Nigerian used vehicles are cheaper?

- Since the obvious reason is because of degree of abuse on majority of Nigerian used vehicles (like 80-90%), what measure did you take to prevent ending up with one of those 80%, since you can't afford the expensive tokunbo ones or brand new vehicles?

These 80-90% of abused vehicles on Nigerian roads end up being resold to other Nigerians. Only few/some of them are advertised at Cars45 website. The rest are advertised and sold by other Nigerian car dealers or private individuals, in same abused conditions like the ones advertised by Cars45. Just because some Nigerian dealers or individuals packaged their abused vehicles before putting them out for sale, doesn't mean those nightmares waiting under those paints are different from every other abused vehicles scattered all over Nigeria for sale. So are they now saying all the Nigerians complaining of ending up with abused vehicles bought those vehicles from Cars45?

From the Cars45 business model that few of you explained on this thread, they don't repair or fix vehicles before reselling, either through dealers or themselves, if I understood you guys correctly. But they inspect and publish the report or their findings on the vehicle, as you guys claimed. If that is the case, it's possible some of their employees (the inspectors) don't do their work well, do make mistakes with their findings or intentionally choose not to report every issue they found on the reports. Like I published, Every Nigerian is a scammer until he proves otherwise. But as someone who knows how risky it is to invest huge amount of money on Nigerian used vehicle, what personal responsibility did you take to prevent you in becoming part of the statistics online lamenting about their nightmares they bought with their very own hands? I mean, from what I read here, they pasted or published they don't allow test drive and don't refund. If these claims are true, how comfortable did you feel about those conditions that you could just walk in there and drop your huge amount of money you knew you will never get back if you pick a wrong car? What did you do to not let that happen?

One of the easiest and successful way of dealing with a company's weakness or threat is to hire or contract someone or an expert on that weakness that can turn it into a strength and/or opportunity for you to focus on and grow with. You might be a professional or good at your job or business, but may not be the same in automobiles. What's the logical thing to do here?

Few said here that Cars45 has a way of filtering out non stollen vehicles. So, if this is really true, it makes logical sense to end up with abused vehicle than a stollen one (even though I wouldn't recommend a severe abused one either). You will lose your money and you move on painfully, if it was just an abused car. But if you end up with stollen vehicle, you will not only lose your money you purchased the stollen car with, you also likely will lose all your assets, all your money, your job, your company, your businesses and will spend some days, weeks, months or years in jail, doing everything you can not to spend the remaining of your physical life in prison over a stollen vehicle. You have no idea risks involved in buying Nigerian used vehicles until you become a victim.

I have published thousands of free articles, videos, and posts on these issues on Nigerian used vehicles, how to avoid one or put one in those conditions. But those my efforts are meaningless because I am still a wicked man for charging those who prefer private consultations & services from me to get same information & pieces of advice I put out publicly for free, over and over. Because they are entitled to every knowledge I have on PSA vehicles, both in private or public, to be free. You would be surprised that some of the people that read this post and my earlier one on this thread will come back in future to complain how they bought abused vehicle sniffing life out of them.

Any logical mind that have gone through this thread would know my earlier post had nothing to do with specific brand. Most Nigerians reading this thread prefer Japanese vehicles. So, if my earlier post have resonated with them, who would they go to for hire to inspect used vehicles for them? Me? Even for PSA vehicles, do you know how many experts we have on those brands over here in the North that will do it cheaper than me or even for free? Honestly, some people on this thread actually need to hire others to logically think for them since theirs have possibly been emasculated out of them.

Just that no testing is way cheaper,if car45 will choose to sell a coffin/ right hand car that was converted without telling it all to the buyer,then their price should be unbeatable or reasonable.

They have got nice deals for those who need a parts car.....

Personally I can only buy from them a car model and brand I already know inside out
