Something as basic as immune systems, anti-bodies, pathogens that primary school pupils understand is what you failed to understand? I'm not surprised, your profile says it all...stick to the romance section and stay away from topics that are way beyond your IQ 3 Likes |

Venusman: 1. More than 90% of people with the virus go on to recover. Some don't even exhibit symptoms. Covid-19 is not an automatic death sentence. 2. The virus is not a political enemy. It doesn't deliberately target certain people because of their position, after all Prince Charles has recovered and Boris Johnson is mending well. Many older people including some with preexisting health conditions have survived. The death rate is between 3.4% to 4%. That means betwern 96.6% to 96% of victims will recover. I don't think the government is scaring anyone by taking extreme measures and telling people to stay safe. It's for everyone's own good because no one can tell who's going to live and who's going to die even if the mortality rate is not too high. 3 Likes |

Venusman: Recovery is not only in Nigeria. As at 25th of last month about 113, 000+ people in the world have recovered from COVID-19 and yet there's no cure. It's interesting to know that governments around the world chose to shut down their economy just to scam people. 2 Likes |

Re: COVID-19: How False Negatives Are Complicating Testing by helinues: 8:49am On Apr 11, 2020 |
gypsey: We are always exposed to virus and diseases daily.. That's the work of our immune system to fight it naturally, but if the situation is complicated that's when you start having symptoms. Drugs/medicine are only immune booster not a cure. They make our immune system to be active and take care of the diseases/viruses |

helinues:well I think it's quite high because they are testing those with travel history to high risk areas, those who had contact with confirmed cases and their family, so its expected that from this group there would be more positives. |

helinues: You can only correctly compare or cross reference Nigeria with America if we were testing and isolating at the same rate or pace as they are... I personally believe Nigeria has far more infected cases, with most not showing symptoms, versus hospitalized and deaths... This makes Nigeria far better than America overall. In the real sense, if America has 3% death rate, then Naija realistically has less than 1%. 1 Like |
