It's either of 2 things. They are paying Ghosts or they are paying a very small % of people which amounts to nothing and shows poor strategy and implementation. |

RuudVanNisteroy:Too many useless questions in one post. They should have called you when the participatory registration and enrolment was going on now when you didn't belong to any CDAs in your locality. They should have given the enrolment job to you when you didn't have a consulting firm. They should have kept the register lists with you when you're not FG and LG. They should have given beneficiaries what instead of cash? The programme is "Conditional Cash Transfer" and they considered the beneficiaries the people with no bank accounts and possibly couldn't operate bank accounts. Governments all over the world are taking care of the less privileged (women, aged, handicapped, poor people) and this is the first time we're seeing a Nigerian government trying to emulate good thing but you guys are ready to go to any length to discredit it and pull it down just because you are not a beneficiary. |

jaxxy:They are paying 40 people in each selected CDA which they believe translate to 40 households in that community. All these ones you're seeing so far belong to the women category. There is youth category and there is aged and disables category. There own payment schedules is different from this. |

maasoap:So this is the worldwide best practice the consulting firm recommended?Distribution of cash to 2.6 million people across the country? In a country known for fantastical corruption, you can only deceive low I.Q clowns. No audit or accounting firm will ever recommend this. Only in shithole nations you see this kind of brainless policy implemented. You have to setup a bank account for audit purposes to track where the payments are going. The nation is on lockdown and you intend the call all the beneficiaries and have all of them lineup when they should be practicing social distancing and collect the funds?Does that make sense to you |

RuudVanNisteroy:Nigeria is her own problem, they make laws and counter those same laws to escape justice. Why not make the register public? if not paying ghost? |

This is why I believe that Biafra will excel, if you check people that are opposing this bad government is either from South East or South South. The north and part of the west are OK with the decaying system in Nigeria. |

Hmmmmmmm Look at this one using 'we'. Is he also poor? By the way, why are all of them from both green and red Chambers manufacturing/feigning fake sympathy for the poor? The poor Nigerians know that you don't care about them. You are fighting for coro fund under the pretext of showing concern to the poor. Oga law makers, face front. Executive dey separate powers and function. |

/ Lamentations! Lamentations!! Stupid Presidents are always elected by stupid people. So he said. But in Nigeria, the stupid people want the President to miraculous be smart overnight. Why not? Afterall there are churches and mosques to run to for divine intervention after they intentionally sell away their future. It ain't gonna happen. Garbage in garbage out. Enjoy the ride. I don't believe Next Level is enough. We need Next-Next Level. I can imagine Osibanjo with a toothpick in his mouth and thinking "wetin concern me?" \ |

. I am no fan of Bubu's administration, but fortunately I actually watched the program... And my impression was that the NASS were trying to get their grubby hands on the funds and share it among their relatives and thugs. The NASS can get access to official lists/information that we cannot, so that bit was just crass political grandstanding.. What Mrs. Uwais objected to was merely the notion of publishing the list or otherwise making it public in contravention of the FOI Act. Rather rich to hear the NASS blabber on about 'transparency'.... When they refuse to publish details of their own budget or the wages/remuneration of their members, despite repeated FOI Act requests. Whatever shortcomings of the SIP program in a data-poor Nigeria... It should never be allowed to become simply another version of the "constituency projects" scam, a funnel for NASS members. > |

9jaRealist:Nigeria is caught between the Devil and the deep blue sea-crooked NASS members and crooked executives. Either way the Nigerian masses are the ones on the losing end. If an audit is conducted b a reputable firm on the funds budgeted for NSIP were handled, it will be one of the biggest corruption scandals even by Nigerian standards. |
